Thanks, but yeah, that storm crow article seems to be taken almost entirely from the RPG too. It's their only reference. Most of it should probably have been flagged. I was just wondering if there was something in game. Would genuinely be interested to find out.pop wrote:To be fair, Azeroth isn't earth, so, scientific terms like mammals or reptiles might or might not exist hence why any bestiaries or in game lore has yet stated it.Wain wrote:I always wondered if kodos were reptiles or mammals. The Wowpedia article has never supplied a reference to support their claim that they are reptiles. If it was mentioned in WC3, though, at least that would be definitive. Do you have any references?
Having said, the closest thing I could find is here;
http://wowpedia.org/Storm_crow
In Mulgore, kodo beasts' nests are particular targets. Much of the murder will caw and raise a commotion above the kodo beasts' heads while one or two storm crows try to grab the eggs and fly away.
And the WOW rpg too stated Kodos as reptiles.
In the novel 'Cycle of Hatred'; the pre-wow novel, Aegwynn said that the word "kodo" referred also to thunder lizards

If we get everyone to say the boundary between reptiles and mammals on Azeroth isn't that strong, then we could have kodos in the rhino family. And also Feral Devilsaurs! Forget evolution through natural selection, there's clear evidence of (mostly) intelligent design on Azeroth and Draenor. Behold.
