It may take them a while to get back to you; they're slower than Blizzard. @_@
But I'm sure you can get it straightened out, especially since YOU did the accidental exalting, so there'd be a record of it on the file, I'd imagine.

Blizz can be quick but I've seen people wait 2 WEEKS for a reply. D: I'm trying to remain calm about it and everything but it's hard! ;-;Nachtwulf wrote:-Junrei

Re: Flight Rising Rant Thread
The artist rant - I don't think anyone disagrees that artists need income to survive and that Tarn's offered price was low. To me, that's not the point - no one should purposely comment on another's thread just to bash them. Tarn did not ask that person specifically - she didn't corner an artist and attempt to fleece something for nothing off them personally - she was looking for someone willing to work for that price - it's not ok for anyone to bash Tarn for that, and in doing so, put off any artist quite happy to work for that amount of gems (who would take the commission now? To me, it degrades the proposed quality of your work now someone has slated the price). It's like posting on someone's dragon selling thread: "No offence, but your dragons are waaaaay too expensive for the crap they are, only a moron would pay for them cos you're being so unfair with your prices!".
If it's too little for you, move on. If you really, really have to give the heart-rending artist needs money lecture, then PM them. From a neutral party (whose sister is an artist with a full time job to support her dream - her 6 hour art time starts when she's home from her 8-4 job) it just looks egotistical from the 'all-knowing-smallest-violin-playing' artist. I know my sister wouldn't publicly lecture someone, and it would certainly put me off ever commissioning anyone who deemed it 'necessary' to lecture me on price etiquette so publicly - a gentle PM saying. "look, your price is too low and not fair to the amount of work required" is much better and far more friendly! ^_^ Not everyone understands or realises the amount of work required (and some artists will put in less work than others, everyone has a different work ethic) - not everyone is trying to rip artists off....
My personal rant for today: Using all my monies to gene up a dragon and they lay 1 egg ;_;

I agree, that artist's response to Tarn was very rude imo. She wasn't being mean she thought thats what a pencil drawing was worth. They could of just said "thats abit low if you offer more you'd get a better response" instead she got a lecture on the struggles of being a ripped off artist.
As someone who does a profession that most think is reading books all day (librarian) and all it requires to do is knowing how to read
I know what its like to be "undervalued" if you like...but yeah that guy came off as the self entitled one. I hope this doesn't offput other ppl from helping her in the future.

Re: Flight Rising Rant Thread
I have a dear friend who is going through a family bereavement at the moment, and to try and cheer her up I suggested she PM some FR friends to vote for her house submission in a WildStar competition to win a cute plushie (she entered the compo prior to the bereavement). What do her 'friends' on FR do? Report her! These are friends she has given dragons, items and even monies to - gotta love the FR community sometimes
She didn't even mention the bereavement - just included a link to the comp and asked kindly for a vote -.-"

I'm sorry to say that doing that is actually against the rules. D:

Yeah, we read that but figured that since it wasn't actually selling or advertising anything, and that it was kindly sent to people who called themselves friends it would have been okLupisDarkmoon wrote:I'm sorry to say that doing that is actually against the rules. D:

Re: Flight Rising Rant Thread
Technically it is advertising....and it's a competition. It feels a bit like asking for votes is cheating, imho. I didn't report her or anything, of course. I don't deem that necessary. That's actually overboard since she wasn't spamming strangers or anything. That's just my personal feeling on it.

If you've already changed flights then there's a 6 month delay and a fee. However, if you haven't done it yet, then it's probably a glitch in their system because they tinkered with something and now some stuff is all screwed up. Like the daily bonuses; almost nobody has received those today.

Wind.
And my last change was October 25th, and I have 1700 gems so that shouldn't be an issue. Unless they consider wind to be full.

I don't think there's a such thing as a "full" flight. I think they're having site issues right now since they already messed up other stuff too.

That feel when you accidentally post a dragon for 1000t instead of 10,000t, and someone snaps it up as exalt bait... qq...
