Someone bought one of my dragons... and is now trying to flip-sell him for 20k more than my original price .-.

That happened with one of my coatlz. I finally ended up selling them for 60k just to be rid of them.. And one of the buyers is trying to sell one for like 200k now X.x Oh well. Good luck to them I guess. lol. Its annoying though, I know D;

The amusing thing is... is I have a pair that only produces Obs/Sunshine/Sunshine UB skydancers so honestly it's sorta pointless for them to do that since my pair is gonna be putting out more of that same coloration every single time they breed.

idk I really don't understand people who buy dragons and then try to re-sell them.

i do that all the time... not with petopian dragons but i earn around 200k a week reselling....when i got room and money to buy dragons offc...

i would never do it to a petopian though... but its defo a part of my income

Thank you all for your support. I admit I was really put off and shocked. It was very unexpected. The good apples make up for the bad though. The spirals were made a pair and bred especially for crazy colors. They were a gift from a famous tumblr FR user miniprof/Candy Dragons on tumblr. They liked crazy colors and I fell in love wit them as a pair. I've named the babies Mango, Dragonfruit, and Papaya. Just in case anything is tried, they've been reported and blocked by myself though. :3

and I don't get the whole "only one " account thing either. maybe because I've never thought about the whole cheat the system thing...just that lair expansions are pretty cray cray and having another space to stuff dragons sounds pretty handy to me

I'm not sure why this bugs me.

Someone proudly has on their clan profile that they are a PROUD DRAGON FLIPPER DEAL WITH IT OK. And then follow it up with 'I don't respond to most messages ever'. I am down with the fact that we all play how we want to. Sure, AH flippers can be annoying when I mistype a price or when I'm after those dang silks or a dragon I want, but hey. I'm not the boss of how people spend their playtime.

Still, why brag about doing something a lot of people dislike - only offering 'well if you want your dragon back, offer me something good and MAYBE I will give it back'. Then follow it up with 'I have a social problem, so you can't be mean to me'. Say what? I have a terrible case of something that hampers me socially. I'm more awkward than a greased ferret musical re-enaction of the Titanic. It's really awkward. But I don't use it to bludgeon people into being nice if I'm being snotty/mean/crabby. I believe that ableism is terrible and that most countries really do have a hard time dealing with social disabilities (and mental disabilities. And disability period, but that's a can of worms waiting to be popped open).

Note: Details have been altered and distorted to protect the (not so) innocent. This is not aimed at any one user, but is an amalgamation rant to protect people's identities. Some flippers are very chill about returning lost dragons, for example. And some just like playing with economies. Hey, it's your account. Do what you're gonna do. Repeat: This is NOT aimed at anyone in particular. It was just something I found unnerving in a few profiles. And if I'm being an ableist douchebag, I will accept it and mend my ways.

Ahh ok, I get it. Not something I personally agree with, nor would I do intentionally (disclaimer here on selling dragons I end up not clicking with, but I think I sell those a lot lower than I got em for anyways), but everyone plays differently I guess. I have had it happen to me and I remember feeling very disappointed that my dragon was being used and not resting in a new forever home.

I really don't care if my dragons are flipped or not, because whatever, you gave me your treasure so I got what I needed from the deal.

But wow, that person's using a social disability as a way to get out of shit? No thank you. That's immensely disrespectful to people with disabilities. You can't just- say "well I have this problem so it's not my fault" because in doing so you're acknowledging the wrong thing you did, acknowledging that you LET IT HAPPEN without any remorse, and then you're using that problem as a shield. Major no-no right there.

This is a stupid rant and more of a complaint on myself. If I have any amount of treasure or gems it burns a hole in my pocket!!! I feel I MUST seek out even more gen 1's to buy. Be cause the 49 gen 1's I have in my lair CLEARLY isn't enough.
But. But. But what if I come across some lowly babe who is unloved!!!!!!
Ugh. It's quite frustrating to feel so compelled to stalk the AH for them. AND IT'S ONLY TWO BREEDS I LOOK FOR!!!!! I really should just send my coin and gems to someone too hold them for.
