I'd hold off on making it into a full skin though, Undel mentioned that they might be doing Accent theme's this year instead of full Skin's :3

I had totally forgotten about that...throws that idea out the window lol. I'm not good with accents, never have any good ideas for it.

Well, it's a really neat skin, you could keep working on it and post it and see if there is any interest from people for it...might get funding from people wanting it so you can create it.

Anyone have a Ripple scroll I can preview on a dragon? It looks great on the one I'm thinking of giving it to via the scrying workshop but she has a lot of apparel and I can't preview it and the apparel at the same time so I don't know if the absolutely ungodly overpriced price of the scroll is worth it or not.

Seriously, 250k w/o discount for a Primary gene that only covers 3/4ths of a dragon that's a bunch of wavy lines. Yeah. But the choices for Primary gene's that aren't overcluttering or distorting like Speckle (what she currently has) or Clown is essentially non-existent aside from Ripple. I don't like Iridescence on most dragons cause it makes their muscles bulge too much and it gives different color tones which is more of a turn off than a turn on to me if the extra colors aren't complementary. Tiger is alright and I may end up switching to that cause the price is so much better but it doesn't really feel like it suits this baby in particular.

I really hope they do make accents instead of skins. I actually dislike covering up my dragons completely, even when the skins are nice. If I could still see their colors through something decorative, though, that'd be sweet. Like how the Shadow festival clothing had the rump tattoos. I really liked that.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat -- I dislike how the skin covers up the dragon colors completely :/
If I don't like a dragon's colors I suppose that would benefit but then I just wouldn't buy the dragon in the first place

This is going to sound weird, but does any one have ANY Tail Silk apparel they'd be willing to let me borrow? I want to see what it does to one of my dragons o3o; I'll send it right back ASAP!

Selling it is always the practical thing since the babies honestly aren't worth anything unless the person is a real gen1 collector (and you get REALLY lucky). But man, do I know that feeling.

I've noticed all the primary and secondary genes are sets...Tiger and Stripes, Clown and Eye Spots, Freckle and Speckle, Iridescent and Shimmer, and now Ripple and Current.

True, and good point, but on some dragons I literally can't tell the difference between stripes and current (was playing in the scryers shop) Male tundras being one of them..

Ripple combined with current is actually not to bad, though tossing on a tertiary can make it look a bit busy.
