Favorite skins...

So here's a question that has probably been asked before, but I'm asking it here because I'm thinking about it for myself.. thinking that maybe I've become a bit of a rare-snob... What are your favorite pet skins, NOT counting rarity, utility, or any other factors besides looks?... (they just have to be tamable.. non-tameable is another thread)

My top skins (somewhat in order, jury is still out on Aotona, but I think she's in the top group)...



What I would give for boars and cats to be end-game viable..

At least I have two of these.. the black Trex that I just picked up, and Loq'. After my failure with The Beast, it got me thinking, was I just doing it for the rarity? yep. Did I really want one or plan to use it? nope. So I'm gonna roll 2 Trexes for a while, one for raid-spec and one for solo/hero spec. I'm gonna keep my Sholo trio for the rarity, but the spirit-bear may be set free for something else... something with one of my fav skins... just getting a bit tired of the rare thing, and looking again at what I really like. (If boars and cats were viable, I would have those two above in an instant..)

Btw, I think cats are certainly 'viable' end-game, just not the MAX of the min-maxing. Have you tried raiding with one to see how much dps you actually lose over a wolf?

Really, any Ferocity pet is viable. The DPS doesnt vary by much.

A fair point, I may tame one again and just do some target-dummy testing, and see what they do. Only pets that this comparison wouldn't work for as well are pets that buff the hunter directly (wolf) or ones that provide debuffs.

At least I'll make a lot of gold running the heroics to level each..
