So yeah I was flying around shola going between all my chars that I have in King krushs spawn points. And who do I see instead? Loquenak!
Now see there was mixed feelings about seeing him. I adore him yes but that also probablys means I wont be seeing King krush anytime soon today. So I sat there watching him for 10 mins, noone comes around. No hunters in shola.. none of my hunter friends online. What to do?
So I fly over on Sas and just watch him. I have my humanoids tracking up so I can see if anyone is going to be coming around. I dont want to see him killed it would break my heart lol. So when a horide starts flying around I do the unthinkable.. I get rid of Arcturis and tame my second Loque! Calling her Shola (I have a boy already Raiden lol so I am having this one a girl). I ended up forgetting which of my macros worked and it was quite funny I wanted to see my tame time but that didnt end up working right because I ended up not using the first one or any buffs.. or anything lol. It was nice to see him up in a way. now if only my green dino would be nice enough to spawn..

I am really not going to see King krush for hours today am I? Dont they share the same spawn timer?

I think Phyra has found that Loque'nahak and King Krush do not share the same spawn timers.

But grats on another Loque'nahak tame!!!

It's actually commonly believed that rares share their timers, but they don't, as people found out about a month after WOTLK was released.

Thank you! I havent seen many rares up the last one was king krush last thursday. And I didnt even see him I just saw his tag that he spawned.

Ah thats good. Ive never seen them up close to each other. Ive only ever seen one rare up at a time but I guess there may be a chance that krush will spawn sometime. Sad to say I guess the horde was a hunter who was looking for him. I didnt see that he was a hunter and when I was just staring at the dot he didnt really make a move. So I assumed he was herbing or coming to kill him. Poor guy.
But Shola and I are getting along great. I could never get rid of Raiden so once I see King krush, shola will be going back home. And getting a sex change lol

I think it really is a mystery on spawn timers. I was right on with Krush's/Loque's timers when I was on the hunt for Krush. When I thought he would spawn, Loque did. Aotona is another story, as two times she has spawned 1 hour after Krush's death. So either there is a 1-5% chance any rare in the basin can spawn after one is killed/tamed immediately, or in 1-3 hours; the normal timing I have seen was around 6-8 hours after, though my Krush tame was on the 5 hour mark after seeing Loque.

Personally, I believe, until I see otherwise, Krush and Loque share a 4-8 hour spawn time, and Aotona 1-3. I haven't run across TWO up at the same time, though I have heard of accounts of it. If anything, the percentage of that happening is very small. I've tamed Loque 3 times (4 including my Draenei huntress) and seen him over a dozen other times. I will be farming in the basin, and keeping track of spawns so I can do more research on this, because I'm very interested.

If you have time today I would do laps in the basin, at least close to each hour from the time you tamed Loque. People say Krush spawns around 3 times a day, I have seen him spawn 3 days in a row, two around the same time, my tame a little later (think there was a rolling restart that morning though).

Ah I see! Well Ill just keep looking today. Ive got the day to myself to relax so thats pretty awesome. 4-8 hour timer for the two hey. Well I tamed Loque at 7:22 so if I see King krush or aotona today that may help with our times. I dont know I think blizzard just makes it randomn to tick off the hunters lol.

I have four chars in shola. One at the spot ive seen Krush alive twice and then my bros account and I just keep switching chars between those three.

He spawns 3 times a day? Wow. I saw him... last thursday and I usually just see him once a week. Once I got lucky, saw him twice in one week usually in the morning.
The times ive seen him are 7:30 in the morning (saw loque also today at 7:20). Saw him 8:30, 10:30, 2:00, between 4-6, and 10:20 at night.
He also just spawned at 9:30. (of course the times vary so its mostly between 8-10-8:30. I am just rounding out times cause I dont recall exactly). Most of the times I just miss him.
