I personally prefer the non lava core hounds and think they would make an...um... "safer" mount all things considering

I am surprised they did not go the savage route again. This guy looks great through. I kind of hope they just replace all the old ones with this guy since he is very true to the old model with just more details and bells and whistles. I like the details on the horns/tusks.

I would love to see updates for the other two core hounds since chromaggus is my favorite but I certainly wont complain about this guy.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the Corehounds are being updated.Although I really wish other models *cough cats* *cough wolves* would have been updated FIRST. However. I think it's the dumbest idea Blizz has come up with yet to make them mounts. Flame me all you want but that's my personal opinion. I won't rep grind for them etc. Which is probably what Blizz will do. Make them some obnoxiously long rep grind.

An updated Kurken could be glorious! The skin (fur) on the current one is probably the least finely textured of all the core hounds, at least to my eye, even though I do love him very much. As long as they're true to the original and give him a sleek pelt and not clumpy spikes of fur.

Kurken could really use some love for sure. I would kill for an updated chromaggus but I must admit his model has held up very well over the years. Even now I appreciate the details in his eyes. Poor kurken on the other hand remains forgotten in a cave. He has an interesting concept but he is quite old. (And honestly I would be much more in favor of a kurken mount.)

Yeah, Chromaggus is still a gorgeous model, especially for Vanilla era. Since he was such a large boss he had a pretty nice texture resolution. I'm still impressed by the scales and eyes. It would be neat to see more models eventually get similar updates though!
