SWTOR Screen Shots Thread [IMG Heavy]

I've been playing Jooda quite a bit. I love playing Pereia and Llayth too, but it's nice to switch between the different play styles, factions and stories sometimes. Anyway, I chose the gunslinger specialization and so far, I seem to be liking it better than I liked the sniper (Imperial Agent). I think it's because the GS uses two blaster pistols while the sniper only uses the one gun, so it *feels* slightly more action-y, even though it's really the same thing. I'm going with the Saboteur(?) tree, the one that focuses more on grenades and stuff.

So far, Jooda's personality/story is that he's quite young to be a captain (long story to that but I won't bother ya'll with it), so he's probably around 18 or 20 or so. He's a bit of a sarcastic @$$ to most people, and is always interested in money. He's very intelligent and has always been good with working on ships, and math, even though he's received no formal education (he was an orphan). He uses his intelligence and street smarts to try to get more money. Um.....oh yeah - he flirts a little, but mostly playfully. He's not a skirt-chaser or anything, so I don't often take the flirt options. Underneath his easy-going and mouthy exterior, he's a kid with a soft heart that wants to help people (he just wants to make money doing it). Oh, I re-made him without the scar. I couldn't come up with a believable story for it, so I got rid of it.

Anyway, I just landed on Coruscant last night, so I'm working on picking up Skavak's trail. This is about as far as I've gotten in the smuggler story so far (I played a female one a long time ago but just couldn't get into her), so I'm interested to see what happens.

after several weeks without internet they finally got it running at my new place.
I logged in and bought some of the new packs and got not one but two new neat looking mounts

i think as long as they keep this game up- i'll come back for 2-3 months a year. Starting to want to again. still sucked into WOW atm though again.

Have either of you tried Homesteads yet? I'm curious what they seem like - or if I would be at a disadvantage for picking it up again (I would probably sub again).

I haven't but I think the new expansion isnt untill this fall though

I actually just cancelled my sub tonight. I'll come back to the game, fo' sho', but right now I just can't afford two SWTOR subs (hubby and me), two WildStar subs (hubby and me) and one WoW sub (me). I also cancelled my WoW sub. I mean, that's a lot of money, and now that I'm back in school (and still working), I don't even have the time to play one MMO regularly, let alone three.

Haven't really been playing this much lately, but hopped on today to play around with the strongholds. These are pics from the Tatooine homestead, which I naturally tried to fill with as many pets as possible

I just recently got back into swtor, how do you get the homestead?

The stronghold vendors are on fleet, the map has the relevant quadrant section labelled. You can buy strongholds with coins or credits. Accessory currency can be crafted, and it and the accessories can be resold on the GTN. There is a utility pack of accessories on the cartel market that is very nice, as there doesn't seem to be any cool-down on visiting strongholds and returning to your last location.

You can display mounts too! And there is no cost associated with placing pets, mounts, and trophies that you've collected. It's just furniture and utility items that have to be purchased.

Thank you The homestead thing brings back memories of Star wars galaxies, you could own houses and stuff, guilds could found cities, I lived in one such city with my friends

Been piddling about with my strongholds , subscribers get one free on Nar Shaddaa which is far from my favourite planet so I nabbed the cheapish ones on Dromund Kaas and Coursant respectively.

I'm going to return to Za'n sometime soon but in the meantime I dusted off another assassin I made ages ago but never played, she's quickly becoming one of my favourites.

I do like the views from the housing! I'll get back into this game someday. I still have a soft spot for it, after all, and too many characters that are halfway to max level. Working full time M-F, then going to school on top of that five days a week, plus homework.....doesn't leave me a whole lot of time for games.

(And, I just RE-STARTED DA:Origins after getting 34 hours into it. Found out I messed up a relationship [cut it off without realizing it] about 14 game hours after it happened. Got so fed up I re-rolled. )

I've been playing Ishal quite abit as of late, finished act one and no sparing that padawan didn't come back to bite her in the rear .. noo not at all x.x , got Torian who's soo cute

Ishal's a mercenary and playing her I kind of fell out of love with the powertech I had so after alittle bit of consideration I decided to make a new powertech.

Has the new Discipline system launched yet? I'm curious to see what others think of it. I'm currently getting ready to start raiding with my guild from years ago (we re-formed, so much yay!), so I doubt I'll be drawn from WoW anytime soon. But, I'd be lying if I said that SWTOR hasn't crossed my mind from time to time. Sometimes, you just need to hit some things with a lightsaber.

I feel ya, hon. I started up Fable Anniversary when our internet went out, so now I have to finish it, of course. >.< I've got this spiffy spell-ranger thing going on, and I just married some lady I met in a park and flirted with for maybe two minutes. Ah, Fable. The only game where you can go from eligible bachelor to wedded bliss in about 30 seconds flat.
