Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
Aww, I was hoping they'd go south in Unova. I don't think about that area much. XP Buuttt this means Mattie might be able to sneak off to Opelucid, possibly. She's got some people there she should be worried about.
Guess what! Senna made my Avatar! woo!
Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
That was just my proposal about them going north. If we all want to go south and that's what folks in Unova thread I want, I'm cool with that. I just figured going north would be a logical bet.

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
Well, from a tactics perspective, it would be better to go south, as to not be pressed up against the high mountains at the edge of the region, as well as there's a river to the west if they go directly north, which they would probably have to find a good place to cross or risk getting cornered, which may take a while. (Because As far as I can remember, they actually live to the Northeast of village bridge, kind of, and heading to the northwest would drive them into a corner that they probably should not go. Cornered against the sea isn't a good plan.)

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
Okay, just had a bit of a chat with Seren in an attempt to figure out a few things for the Johto Blessing group, especially those who'd prefer their characters to remain idealistic of the movement (Such as Trick and Asher, maybe Arinei?). And here's what I'm thinking:
As Ghost, Sol and the other members of the Burned Tower group are leaving from their inspection (before it all got destroyed), I'm thinking that Darius came by, requesting for some volunteers to help aid a few misfortunate families who are hard on their luck. And they're helping out with that while the riot goes on, unaware of what's happened. We pick up with them as they return to the camp, only to find it destroyed - and perhaps with a few familiar wraitheon feathers laying around. Talk with the townsfolk spreads the rumours that the Burned Tower group is responsible, further proves that mutations are dangerous and need to be dealt with.

I think I'd be good with that. I kinda want to have Chandra show up and stuffs.

Same, and the idea of bounties is something Loki would definitely support (and probably issue), just to see families and friends torn apart on all levels. He's been sitting in his corner long enough, I think.

Eep, did not mean to sleep as long as I did... Will hopefully be up and running with posts in a bit!
Anyway, I'm totally down for that idea, Moon! (Funny, while still in bed I was thinking "ya know I should ask Moon and Seren what they're doing with their Blessing characters. Maybe I can throw Arinei into whatever plan that is too" XD)

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
I think I'm about ready for a skip. I mean, the sooner we skip, the sooner Mattie wakes up. And I want Mattie to wake up. Because I love Mattie. I mean, if Jurz can bring up a post, It might be good to find out if Rose is going to be sticking around with Bellflower and "The Best thief ever" or something like that. Oh right, Rose probably still has Mattie with her too. It would be good to know what's going on with that cutie Ampharos.

Actually, yeah, I think it probably is just about time we actually did the timeskip for Unova. (Though like Honey said, getting to Bellflower asking Rose if she wants to come with that little group might be a good plan first. Hm. Jurz, come back! We need you! XD)

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
Oh man, I guess I should start playing catch up XD I'll try to skim through the Unova thread and post on it tonight. I won't have time to catch up in Johto though but I'm pretty sure that's alright for now. I'll be able to post regularly after this weekend

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
Yay, Jurz! I think it's fine if you just focus on the Unova thread for now. XD Think we just kinda need Rose going before we can do our timeskip for Unova.
it's horrible but I'm very glad that we can timeskip soon because maaaan I was starting to have issues posting in the Unova thread. So many characters to focus on. I'll HOPEFULLY try to focus on fewer once we timeskip... >.>

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
I was also starting to have trouble writing up posts for Saoirse and Ciar, so you're not alone there, either, Senna.
While typing up my post for Veth in the Johto thread, it has me wondering just how many individuals a more powerful legendary species could have existing at once in this universe? Aside from Arceus and the Creation Trio, anyway. I personally believe that there would be at least two Yveltal or Xerneas at a time, but no more than that since Yveltal and Xerneas are both pretty powerful Legendaries. I apologize for changing the subject, but it's been something I've been wondering about.

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
The way I've seen it is really only the creation trio are unique, although i do see the case for yvetal and xerneas. I dunno, I don't really want to limit legendaries myself because people like playing them, hence why we have a legendary that's the alpha and is the epitome of the species and all other legendaries are somewhat weaker and not as big and scary as the alpha legendary? and the alpha legendary so to speak is the one that would show up in game and everything. you know. the real deal.
but the whole creation trio i see them closest to arceus hence why they're unique and they're sort of a notch above
i dunno that's my take on it and i can't sleep (though technically in canon depending on if the fake mutant legendaries died there'd be at least two of the creation trio out there, not counting hybrid legend kids which are nowhere near as powerful as their parents)

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
Azu explained it pretty good, but I'm gonna post my post anyway because it's my two cents and I'm too lazy to edit.
Personally, I do like to Imagine There's... a LOT more then that? Because otherwise Arceus or something's going to have to keep making more of them when they eventually die. (Which would take... a REALLY long time, especially with the cacooning stuff that happens in Kalos but still eventually it would happen eventually, because if there's only two, and they don't get along, no babies.) That's why there's only one with like, the full powers of that legend, as far as I gather. And the rest are powerful, but not AS powerful?

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
That was just my own two cents, since I've no clue how Legendaries are handled in this universe and all. XD Thanks for answering so quickly you guys, I was honestly having difficulty having Veth answer because I'm still learning everything about this universe. And Azu, I agree about the Creation Trio and Arceus being the only unique ones.

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
I'm in much the same line of thought as Azu and Honey. A "prime" legendary that serves as the epitome of the species - and is the legendary you theoretically encounter in the games - and a whole bunch of lesser legendaries. If the "prime" dies, a lesser legend takes it's place and inherits it's power. I think the only one I personally exclude from this headcanon would be Arceus, being the whole pokemon god and all that. However I can see the point of the creation trio also being excluded and have no qualms with that. Plus the whole rebirth thing that Cro went through was damn cool and I love that idea that the creation trio don't so much die as get reborn as a sorta-different entity.
EDIT: Oh, uh, almost forgot. I am very much down for an Unova timeskip. I think I'm pretty much done with Harrier and Allira, outside of maybe some Allira-faffing-with-the-house-patrons

Re: Dawn of the Blessing planning thinger
It's an awesome idea! The Pokemon RPs I used to be in years ago were strict about there being only one Legendary of each species at a time (excluding Mew and Mewtwo), hence my question in the first place. ^_^;
