I know Muffinus said he WILL get to them, but this wait is such a drag. It's the last thing I'm looking forward to. I want my angry grounded bearded vulture already :(

Seems like the hydra's have not changed either - have checked almost all at this point. Not sure if this is new this build or they came in last (to busy with Gara) - but here are some of the Broodmothers

Hmm, hard to tell with the lighting, but that could be a red-gold combo or something. Not sure :)

With the NPC ID I can datamine the intended skins for it tonight.

I remember some time ago there was an idea if giving pets appearance buffs similar to the glitches pets a couple of years ago (boy I miss those). Anything new about this?

No news sadly, though I have been keeping a close eye on it even though it was ages ago. The original tweet was in December 2013
  • @Dave_Maldo Any plans for pets that are tamed to keep special effects like Duskstalkers in jade forest with the shadowform?
  • @StephenDawson14 Looking into tech that'll put visuals like that on display level and not an aura; not sure when it'll be ready & applied.

... and I was even a little naughty necroed the same tweet again at the start of August following up with...
  • @Dave_Maldo @StephenDawson14 Hello Necro! So, with all these new amazing visuals on some of WoDs wildlife, this new tech a maybe for WoD? :D
...but sadly no reply.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, but as much as I would LOVE LOVE LOVE this, it could/would potentially take away some of the Sparkle away from BM Pet/Spirit beasts which will no doubt some one will have an issue with. Me personally, I say spread the love! Sparkly Pet Love for Everyone! :D

I haven't seen any lists yet, though I think it's safe to assume that all new upcoming beasts we can tame in WoD that are level 1 to 90 will be tamable without any problems, as long as they're not on Draenor of course.

Looks like all stags, hydras, and clefthooves not found in Draenor are tameable on 6.0 PTR. Figured I'd put that out there.

Awesome! Thanks for reporting that :) I'd been wondering and hadn't had time to check. It means I'm going to have to move sooner on updating Petopia. As Mania is mostly unavailable and I don't have the right password to modify the database directly I'm going to have to start manually editing pages to reflect what's live, rather than have them get the info from the database as they do now. Fun :/

For some reason Wilderland Stags are no longer tameable, but the rest of the Pandaria stags still seem to be (except for the does and fawns). You can get the Wilderland Stag color from Painted Stags though.

That's rather odd. Maybe it's a bug or an oversight.

Were they ever tameable? When stags were first made tameable, the Wilderland Stags, Wilderland Does and Shrine Elks were the three Pandaren NPCs that were overlooked. So it's entirely possible they just haven't been switched yet.

Not sure if this is the right place but I tamed a hydra on beta but it makes a really annoying stompy noise (like when the corehounds first were tamable) is this something thats going to stay? It might be a deal breaker for me and i really wanted a hydra!!

Can't say if it's confirmed to stay, but it's infuriating at times and has always been there.
