Yeah and people are still trying to sell their dragons for extortionate prices too. I got a ping yesterday about a pair's hatchling I was interested in... and they wanted 400k for it?! Uhh no...

heh i dont mind paying alot for a dragon i KNOW i want... atm im on the lookout for a chocolate bar/ blood shimmer/blood underbelly skydancer and a swamp bar/ blood shimmer/ blood underbelly male pearlcatcher and i KNOW i want to pay alot to get them.... though i am having my friends trying to breed me one but still i would not mind paying over 100k for a dragon i want. One of the mafia members just expanded their lair because a kind person payed 250k for a dragon of theirs.. she only wanted 25k and asked the buyer if she was making a mistake and adding a zero to much... but nope the buyer insisted on paying alot so she knew she would never get rid of the dragon and that the owner of the dragon knew that it was appriciated. This morning my sister in law was approaced by someone looking for a specific color and that person was prepared to pay 150k for the color combo

it exsist out there... its just rare.....

Fair enough but I don't have the time to farm a lot of treasure (plus Coliseum bores me to tears now) so I just can't justify spending that much on one hatchling.

Right now my only source of income is through my hatchlings, who were selling fine a few weeks ago but now... nothing...

How long do you guys give people to pick up dragons they 'want so bad'?

Desperate for room in my lair, and I have a coatl just sat there

Someone asked for a dragon born on their birthday on a FR fan page on Facebook, and this little lady was born on that day, so they said they had to have her - 4 days ago.

I've had to turn down other offers, as I thought this person was super serious. I've already asked them nicely once if they are still interested - and I got a snarky response about how busy their life is at the moment. Accepting a trade is quicker than writing a snarky response on Facebook right?! This response was not 1 but 4 comments on the original post too.

Sooo....how long is reasonable before I offer the dragon to someone else? -.-

If it wasn't for their birthday I would have packed the little lady off to someone else by now, but the fact that I publicly reduced her price since it was for a special occasion is REALLY pissing me off - her siblings sold for double what I'm selling her for to this person -.- I'm gonna be taking a loss now - all because I was kind enough to do a birthday price - seems wrong re-offering at the original higher price

Zhuge just tell them that it takes five seconds to accept a CR and say they only have so long before they'll offer it to someone else. Just tell them that there's plenty of interest in the hatchling. Unless this person is a friend of yours I see no reason as to why you should hold a dragon for as long as they want you to. It's YOUR hatchling, do what you want with it!

Yeah that's what I thought but I didn't want to come across as unreasonable - I know people have life outside of FR, but its the fact that they can reply to FB posts but not FR requests despite being sooooo 'busy'

It's just rude isn't it?

They are US based so I'll give them until tomorrow morning UK time - then it's tough luck! I have a dragon waiting to come in from stud duties and I feel bad making that person hold him whilst this FB person is pissing me about -.- URGHHHH

wow what a rude person.... i give ppl normally one day (unless its petopians) then i sell/exhalt the dragon. Ppl on my pinglist gets to rollover the next day or i sell or exalt the dragon... I would just tell him to accept the cr or its just though luck and you waited along time. Plus you dont have room to hold a dragon forever..

This isn't a rant so much as just a somewhat negative observation. Why in freaking hades are you holding a damned registration window on 10/13 when the site still has MAJOR issues??? Are you kidding me right now? I am not sure about anyone else but I still have to log into www1.FR.com because the correct way still doesn't work. Notifications don't work. I HAVE to have others ping me just to ensure I see a reply to my sales /auction thread since that no longer works. I have to go to the dominance tab just to see who's claimed it because that notification doesn't work. Why bring new people to the site when it still doesn't bloody work right???

40k? Hell, mine never sell for over 10k! I finally moved that seafoam irishim tundra for a whopping 9500t. I wish I knew how people got others to buy dragons for more than peanuts.

The www1 thing is intentional, they're still working on optimizations for the main site! Bug fixes are underway, it's just that they need to balance that out with everything ELSE people are complaining about.

And honestly, I get things to sell through tumblr advertising. Very nice way to get people interested. Though unfortunately iri/shim tundras, unless they're rare and attractive color combos, are very overbred at the moment. That's why people pushed so hard for open registration, and probably why it's happening now even though bug fixes aren't done yet- get some of the dragon overflow dealt with.

Again, temporary solutions. I know I've said it a million times, but I cannot wait for some sort of exaltation overhaul. I'm pretty okay with getting 11k per dragon via level/exalting, but there still needs to be something more to it.

Zhuge i know EXACTLY what you mean! I have a dragon that I always get pinged about - had like 5 ppl want to buy her but I don't want to sell - then one person asked to loan her to breed and I thought yeah thats cool so I waited for her cooldown and sent the person a message and waited...and waited....and waited! Like wtf how long do i keep her in limbo/not breed her? I just gave up and did w/e after a few weeks. People are so weird.

I've got a feeling my gorgeous gold circuits will get exhalted or sold for like 10k...so sad

It sucks when people just don't care - I'm not as obsessed about FR as I used to be - but I still log on a few times a day to reply to messages etc - it's just manners! Well, I've replied to the FB thread saying she's available again - I ain't waiting no longer - this baby is an adult now and this fiasco started when she was just 20 minutes old -.-

I'm loving the new wolf pelt capes too! Already missed at least two lots of the black one :'(

I've already begun farming for the items to trade with Swipp for the winter one when it comes up. 3 hours later (yeah I dunno haw I managed that either. STOP DODGING FFS.) I got 93! pottery fragments and... 33 winter wolf pelts. That's a little bit off :/
