Yeah. That's pretty much killed it for me. Gen 3 is my least favorite so I was waiting to see if they added that. Since they didn't I'm probably going to skip these games. There's honestly very little in them that interests me.
X and Y aren't going to be patched to have any of the new megas either.

So today's been a pretty crazy day for me in terms of Pokemon! Photos of stuff incoming~

Mail for me arrived aaand it was my Jolteon and Vaporeon keychain plushies!



Now it actually REALLY bothers me that I don't have the Glaceon one cause I own them all apart from her now! xD But I did buy her yesterday from a LJ seller along with the Eevee kid figure! I told you guys you had tempted me to get more kid figures. xD So hopefully they'll be sent out for me soon.

And then today I went to GAME to pick up the ORAS demo! WHICH IS AWESOME. And while I was there, picked up my shiny Gengar!

I had also planned for about a month now to meet someone there so I could buy some cards off them so now I own a bunch from my XY collection that I was missing. Here's some of the best ones! (I know Falcon's gunna be pretty damn jealous of two of these specifically... ^^; But I needed them for my collection still!)

And the guy had also brought along something awesome for me - an XY poster! I have no idea if this was an exclusive poster or not but apparently he got it with his pre-order of Y from Argos.

I was SO HAPPY he let me have this poster... and for free as well! This thing is going straight up on my wall above my desk!

I also grabbed the Ancient Power Box while I was out since I had been eyeing it up for a while and a few packs of Furious Fists for my channel. Hoping for some more good pulls~

Oh my god. So I'm at work. My manager walked in. He's a forty something year old father of three. Known me since I was six. I started telling him of days I needed off, including November 21st. Imagine my surprise when he said he needed that day off because his favorite generation of Pokemon rereleased that day. Consider me freaking amazed. So we started nerding out about Pokemon and he knew all about hatching shinies with HA and perfect IV's and everything. And then I was floored when he said when he got Y he met his new favorite Pokemon ever. Who's none other than *glances at Snowy* Sylveon! He's gotten an even bigger collection of merch than I think you do! He was showing me pictures. He said it embarrasses his wife but he doesn't even care. XD

LUCKY! I did a bunch of research on Axolotls for a Bio class and now I reeeeally want a shiny Mudkip cuz the colors match up with that of an Axolotl which is what Mudkip's design is based off of (Axolotls <3) Also, that is the best manager ever! I wish I could meet him!

I would have pictures to post today too if the mail lady actually delivered my package. For some reason she put a notice on the door that she missed me, which of course she did we were all at work. She has NEVER done that with any packages EVER. Why this one I don't know. The thing doesn't say I need to be present to sign for it or anything. I went online and rescheduled delivery with the note to just leave it at the house. I was so excited to leave work today and got home to see packages that weren't mine and a notice that mine wasn't left.

I'm jealous of your packages! And because I like Vaporeon and I want that plushie.

Aaaaand while I'm here, since the thread kinda settled a little (And I don't like that!), new discussion topic!

What Pokemon do you dislike that everyone else seems to like? So for example, a really popular Pokemon that you've just never understood the love for.

Personally, despite being an Eeveelution fan, I've never quite got the love for Umbreon. He's probably the most popular of the bunch and I always thought of all the Eeveelutions he was honestly the most dull-looking... that and his plushies always look so grumpy! All the Eeveelutions in my 'I Love Eevee' keychain line look so cute and happy... except Umbreon. Don't get me wrong, I do like him, but not nearly as much as the others. I'm also not keen at all on Mewtwo. His design weirds me the hell out... and then there's his crotch tail. We don't talk about that. Aaaand Greninja. I don't have much to say about him but his tongue scarf *really* creeps me out and I've got no clue why everyone was picking on Sylveon's 'flesh ribbons' when Greninja uses his tongue as a scarf. Yeeeah...

For me...eevee line in general (I really don't get all the hype concerning it), vulpix line, Reshiram...I'm assuming it's cause they're all cute lil fox things (and Reshiram has a fox-ish face).

And I think the reason people pick on the flesh ribbons more than the tongue is at least the tongue is something more natural than...fleshy ribbons lol. Sylveon creeps me out personally.

Also Lucario...don't get it.

Snowy: The Platinum set was a Burger King promotion they had years back, let's just say I haaaaaate eating there now, I did so much trying to get every card. And my writing is absolute chicken scratch, that's why it was so hard to read. XD And finally saying this because I feel bad for forgetting to do so before, but your desk is AWESOME.

You dislike a lot of my personal favorites, Max. Wow. XD

Mew, not a fan. I do not see Mew as cute - it's a fetus cat!
Xerneas. I tried to give him a fair chance. I TRIED, but, I despise him, sorry to say. Such a snobby deer in the cutscene, and that god-awful cry he has just did it in for him.
Floatzel (sorry, Snowy!), it annoys me.
Delibird. I dunno how popular it is, but mentioning both it and the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games in the same sentence ill cause me to have traumatic flashbacks. >_< Delibird pissed me off SO MUCH in those games that my hate for it went to the main series of games.
Scizor. I don't understand the love for a big fire-ant with pincers. I feel Scyther never should've gotten an evolution. It was fine without one.
The Munna and Solosis lines. Fetuses. Just.... WHY?! D:

Interesting topic. I usually give every Pokemon a chance. There are a few I dislike, but I'm not sure what's considered popular x.x It's funny seeing people hate on some of my favs though XD but I can see why some people would dislike them. I find most of the eeveelution line to be…bleh. I ADORE Jolteon, and I love some of the others, but I don't understand why the whole line is so popular. I'm also at a loss when it comes to Lucario. I used to LOVE Lucario, and I still like him a lot, but I don't understand why he's so popular. Like…the popularity level he reached diminished my love for him cuz I was so tired of seeing him everywhere! The only Pokemon I truly hate though is…the fkin ice cream cone line… There are others that I truly dislike, but there are none that I despise more than that damn thing

I don't mean to harp on those lol, the question asked about popular ones and those are the ones I see a lot. I'm the weirdo who likes the more obscure ones like Golurk, Bisharp, and Zekrom (I also love Aegislash and Noivern, but they're fairly popular).

I don't care for Axew (or Gible). I vastly prefer Deino.
The only pokemon I honestly hate are the snot drip bear (Cubchoo) and the diaper bird (Vullaby). They remind me of scat/diaper/cub furries. Their evos are ok but the starting forms gross me out.
Any other pokemon I don't care for is mostly mild dislike of one thing about them and not the pokemon as a whole. Such as having a shiny that's too close to the normal colors or a shallow move pool.

...Err, guys? Can we not have this kind of discussion? Cause I feel like having a discussion about "popular Pokemon you dislike/hate" is just going to end in a giant shitstorm. Disliking a Pokemon is fine and all, but a topic like this just seems... Very likely to bring up unnecessary drama.

Like, seriously. Why is this even a topic? All it does is stir up trouble. While I'm sure most people know better than to majorly flip out over people not liking their favourite Pokemon, it's still not.. Enjoyable to read about people's dislike of them. I'm personally cringing over some comments in this already, due to some of those being ones I really like. (Mainly Umbreon and Xerneas....)
