Gomegaz

Does anyone know if Gormegaz is still tamable or did he go the way of the Spirit Boar? If so, where is he?

PS: I probably should have noted that he was the Green with yellow flame Core Hound that was in the Blasted Lands near the Dark Portal and now well...being the Iron Horde attacked....

Update: Being I can find no information ANYWHERE on the web about this, I submitted an in-game ticket to Blizzard. I'm hoping they'll respond favorably or at least point me in the right direction.

He's not. I circled that place 20 times. With the Iron Horde invasion, they're walking right over where he used to path.

Go to the passage between the Blasted Lands and The Swamp of Sorrows. You'll see a member of the bronze flight there, in humanoid form.

Speak to her. She'll switch you to the pre-invasion phase of the Blasted Lands and you can find Gomegaz then

This is also necessary for getting the trick or treats in that zone!

Yeah, I stumbled across this last night purely by accident. I was getting candy buckets and the one in Stonard turned me into a frog. Rather than wait it out so I could mount and fly, I hopped on over to the Blasted Lands and spotted the npc over where Corporal Splithoof used to spawn. I don't recall Blizz ever announcing it's existence.

For me, the dragon NPC in Blasted Lands wouldn't appear unless I was on foot. While mounted, she was completely absent.

Oh, and a side note: once you've gotten your bucket, or your tame, don't forget to go back and have her bring you into sync with the present timeline. (silly me, sitting in Orgrimmar wondering what that "buff" was)

OMG thank you for this. I thought the Iron Horde done stole the candy bucket. There was bout to be some furniture moving around.
