Why anzu not tamable ?

Well Anzu himself is a god so....that's why. Just because it shares a model doesn't mean it will be tameable. Lore does support the game and determine if something is tameable or not a lot of the time.

At least we now know what group Anzu belongs to. He's a corrupted Dread Raven. That entire group is intentionally untameable, as you'll soon see in WoD. Perhaps they'll change their minds in the future, in which case it wouldn't be unreasonable for a rare tameable version of his model. They aren't all gods

True true, we can tame loq and it's the same model as god. I have a sneaking feeling they are some how holding out on dread ravens, I'm hoping its so they can some how introduce a "tome of the raven". I can't think of any other new model from WoD that would be more suited for a candidate. But that just my guess

Don't quote me on this, but I don't think we can currently tame any creature that has the ability to speak. Anzu can speak and is clearly highly intelligent (and I mean far moreso than raptors) so I think that could also be an issue!

That said, I think Spiritbinder has the right idea. I'm kinda expecting to see a Tome of the Raven coming out.

Sure make the model tameable just not Anzu it's self. (I nearly wrote Azu and I don't think you should be able to tame Azunara too)

I'm with spirit binder on this one. Although I would not have a problem with taming Anzu himself, he is a god and with the importance of dread ravens right now it probably wouldn't do to have them as hunter pets right off the bat. But i feel like maybe rare versions of said models may become pets through some kind of tome at a later date.

Also I think there are a few (very, very rare) cases of hunter pets that could speak, although not much is coming to mind. I know they had to be mostly quest mobs. I could have sworn seeing a few special chimeras saying something.... didn't the Evalcharr used to yell zone wide messages when he spawned?

From memory, wasn't there was a talking Gorilla that one could tame for a while, something to do with Ungoro Crater, and it was maybe a quest giver or something? I think it may be been snuffed out in Cata Beta or something, my memory is getting pretty fuzzy over time.
