Man, I can't even get there. It's frustrating. I don't know how people can level so fast, it takes me for freakin' ever. Even my highest pair is only lv13.

It took me 6-7 months to get my first trio to lvl 23 (so horribly stat'd it was no wonder why they flopped so hard) and about maybe a month or two to level my second and current pair to 25 using the 4 (strength/intelligence), 2 (quickness), 1 (vitality) stat method. I can level exalt fodder super easy and fast in Kelp Beds with my 2 strength users and farm endlessly with the complete team (2 strength and 1 caster users).

Once you get your core team up there, which is always the difficult part, everything after will be easy :3 I can level a page, at least, of exalt fodder to lvl 8-9 in a day at a lax pace. Never tried leveling new team mates this way but it should be even easier than constantly dropping coli to swap out exalt fodder when they hit my goal level

I want to know how people level so fast! I'd like at least 2 dragons up to 25 before the next festival to make grinding easier. Eidolon and Kauri are at 14 and 11, with Phalanx being 6. I think I need to hit the coliseum a bit more often >.<

Getting the strongest stones for your current level to improve your dragons (augument and accessory) helps a ton. And the 4, 2, 1 stat method I mentioned has worked the best so far for both power and survival, though glass canons are super popular (I don't know the stat placement for that but my understanding of it is essentially pure strength and just enough quickness to outspeed foes). If you grind coli for a few hours a day, not necessarily all at once, you should be able to do it in a couple weeks or something? I'm a very casual grinder so I don't know any actual time estimates for people who are avid battlers.

For Strength users, ability stones I use most is Scratch, Eliminate, and the occasional Rally (good for getting rid of bulky tank types in 1 Scratch and 1 Eliminate move, rather than 2 Scratch and 1 Eliminate). The lone Caster I use has Meditate and Aid for their ability stones, since he's a healer first, battler second. I don't use Concentration cause it disappears after each round and I need the amount of breath Meditate gives me for attacking or healing. For attacking, I give my Caster whatever special attack their flight gets (so Bright Bolt for a Caster-type Light Dragon).

And always a must, Beserker stones for Strength users when they're lvl 17+, and Ambush in both accessory stone slots. Caster's get Scholar instead of Beserker, and 2 Disciplines instead of Ambush. The Discipline stones don't stack the full amount, but I think the chance for extra breath goes up from 50% to 60%. I don't entirely know though, but I've been told when I was making my team to use 2 Disciplines. :3

This has been bothering me for a long time and, even though I've likely dumped down advice on a similar matter somewhere, I'm not sure what to do. This is Varenaxx, my custom progen and modelled after the character most people know me for/as: my adorably shy young BElf hunter, Varethyn (Named Varenaxx instead of Varethyn as a nod to an old RP on another site wherein he turned into a sandstone drake).


Firstly I regret not making his secondary chocolate as I was also finalising my idea on how BElf!Vare actually looks. Secondly his tert his stonewash. Stonewash. There is nothing good I can do with that xD While that's not a huge deal normally it bothers me every time I look at him and his range with his current mate, Mocha. They make odd yellow-brown ranged kids with brown-chocolate wings and while that's not necessarily a bad thing I've grown bored of it. So much so that they've both just sat there doing nothing for a long time now. That and something also bothers me about Mocha being his mate at all cos BElf!Vare is still single but goddammit it's FR (although he was paired with my really lucky random progen Rosaliah who is named after a character that actually belongs to TygerDarkstorm).

Long rant short: he's my custom progen based on my RP alias but his colours and range with his current mate now bother me yet I still feel attached to him in a way. What do I do?

I also REALLY like that poem, it's what got me into poetry in the first place-- very popular one used at my school in English :3 I think it's only really popular amongst people over here in North America though

I think FR was telling you to ship Vare with Rose. Kidding aside, you could always try searching for a dragon with the colors you really want for dragon!Vare and keep this one until you find said dragon. Or you can leave him as a mateless male that you keep around because of the character he is based around and find Mocha a new, better fitting mate.
