Just noticed that my small cory has a fungal grouth on his head. Will have to do a emergancy water clean and then anti fungal treatment of the tannk. I hope he lives D:

Thank you Nekocon for continuing our streak of everything being fine til last minute when everything decides to go to hell....

We, as in the ECPI Anime Club, sent in our registration two weeks before the first deadline. Later we find out they extended the deadline. That's cool. Still, we had ours in. We tried emailing em to make sure they had it. They never responded with anything but we were told that was normal cause they're busy. The night before, while my fiance and I were raiding, my anime club president messaged me saying Nekocon never received our payment and he needs us there early to sort this out.....Are you fucking kidding me? We tried over and over to get confirmation they got it and never got a damn thing...until the night before the convention?

Thank you Nekocon for putting a damper on our weekend after we already paid for our hotel and everything.

sick...not really flue sick, just lethargic and drained. Tired, only want to sleep, lack energy to do much housework, dunno...maybe poor diet. Got some Iron pills, see if that gives me a boost...sick of feeling so tired...

parents cut the internet at home in hopes that'd coax me to get a job

all it's served to do was ramp up my anxiety through the roof, make sure i have almost no outlets to get rid of stress, and make it impossible to do homework at home...

...when i have like a million essays due this week and next.

OH AND MY GROUP IS DOING SHIT FOR THEIR PROJECT. COME ON.

So i found out at our wedding while everyone else said "they will be so happy together" mother-in-law responded "well we'll see"....are you fucking kidding me?? I am so sick of your shit. We've been together 10yrs - sorry to dissapoint but I'm not going anywhere!! Also I'm done with you being upset at fucking nothing all the time - grow up! No you didnt come to the rehearsal as you didn't fucking need to!!! You didn't even wear the button hole flower we spent money on for you. Sorry but you've blown it. I don't care if your upset your 30yr old son won't be there for christmas - you can't have everything your own way every damn year. let go.

hhahaha I know the feeling of trying so hard to being the "good daughter-in-law" but the person's parent(s) make it nigh impossible to the point where you stop trying, Castile
granted I'm not a daughter-in-law yet but I tried early on (fuck, I'd still be trying if my gf's mother wasn't under the impression that me and my girlfriend are broken up) and... yea, I know the feeling. Probably not as bad as you do, but I know it at least a little bit

Take it from someone who has been dealing with the passive aggressive mother-in-law from hell; Smile, nod, have an understanding with your husband that you need his support, and live your life the way you want. Eventually they either get it or make themselves look so ridiculous that others say something to them, After 18ys of marriage an 21 of being together the last couple years she finally has mellowed out.

It was just the straw that broke the camels back tbh. She has been a nightmare for all of the wedding planning but i've been quite firm and my husband has backed me. He was upset when he heard but said "well we will just prove her wrong wont we?"

He actually yelled at her twice and it takes alot for him to be angry. She was uninvited to her own daughters wedding at one point so I think eventually she has to realise what her behaviour is like. Half the problem is that she still thinks of them as children (even tho they are 30 and 31) and they have to do whatever she says. The one thing i'm really going to stamp out is the popping round whenever she feels like it. My mum rings first and we always ring them to make sure we aren't interrupting something - i just find it really rude and intrusive. One step at a time I guess.

I'm really sorry for the language but FUUUUUUUUUCK! My cat, Tempest is missing! I'm trying not to assume the worst even though she's getting up there in years, has a heart murmur and liver problems...

We had her since she was a kitten, a few years after I first moved in with my boyfriend in 2003. Seven years ago, though, we had to give her to his parents because we got Andy, and Tempest... isn't a cat cat. if that makes any sense? She's grouchy towards their own two cats, too. She was a house cat for most of her life, but I always had a feeling she was far happier living outside in the country than in a tiny apartment in the city.

If she really is... dead... then my boyfriend and I hope to be able to do something for her, even if her body isn't found. I'm trying my hardest not to assume the worst, but I'm scared! I've already gone through THREE pet losses last year! I don't want to go through another one so soon!

My boyfriend has already assumed the worst, and his family have been looking for her. We checked the car and in the garage, just in case she somehow got in there, we didn't find anything.

Maybe she got out and is in someone's garden, or is down the road somewhere? If she's wandered off, she couldn't have gone too far...

Cats have a terrible tendency to wander off, even if they've never done so before in the past. You say she's getting on a bit in years which means she'll probably be fine, it's normally only kittens and young cats that will wander too far and actually get lost.

A few years ago, my Blossom vanished for a week. I panicked like crazy. Then one day she just... shows up at the door as if nothing's happened, completely fine. Cats just... do that. It's annoying! But I'm sure she'll be fine Falcon. She might just need some time to herself, I know what non-cat cats are like, Ruby is a good example. She's fine with Blossom because Blossom was there before she was but any new cat we get she HATES. Ruby ended up wandering off a lot to have time away from the annoying kitten, sometimes for days.

As I say, I'm sure she'll be just fine Falcon.

And I really do hope you find her safe and sound soon.

I'm trying to keep positive about her, I really am. I'll be sure to tell you both if we ever find her... no matter what happens.
