But I was the first person to die. I think of it as a fluke that maybe the healer didn't see me or something. Nope. She was ignoring everyone but the tank. I not only had to heal myself but run back three f-ing times to retrieve my body and keep fighting. This snatch pops up and says "You going to stay on viper all night Gio?" That was the last straw. I said "are you stupid or blind? I'm guessing it's both since you're not healing anyone and clearly not smart enough to figure out what aspect I'm using."
She pipes back up and says "I don't care about the dps and I'm not going to heal them only the tank". Then she says "Would you rather I not heal the healer either". I said "Ok. Fine. You want to be snatch and act that way then I'll be sure not to help out whenever possible." Fully expecting at this point to be kicked it doesn't happen. So I just sat on auto shot and 'needed' everything that came up. I did this till the end of the dungeon. What was even more amazing is that the tank goes "Worst hunter ever". I said "Hey dipshit if I'm so bad why not kick me?????" No answer then he and his bitch left the group. At least the good part is that I ended up with quite a bit of great gear to sell.

As you can tell this whole situation had me just freaking angry. Again ................ isn't the healer supposed to heal everyone not just the tank?

I am so tired of bad healers. There are so many amazing great NICE healers out there that outweigh this group by millions but when I come across the ones like this just puts a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not sure why people like this are playing an MMO for god's sake play games alone if you don't know how to work as a TEAM.

My favorite is

The pull MORE or I'm not healing anyone healer = tank pulls more, healer is unable to keep up, we all wipe and healer leaves the group. YAY!

I can only guess that 80 levels of playing wack-a-mole can drive some people over the edge :|

Wooow just got out of a group that wiped on the fire guy in VoA 25. It starts off nice enough everyone ready buffs are up and then some jerk goes "Wow been a long time since i've seen someone below 3000k gs in a raid" I didn't know who he was talking about could have been me, my gear is all frost emblem and heroic/raid drops, but no icecrown. Since I don't raid often I don't pay attention to gs, but I HATE ppl who are all epeen about it. So we get started and the idiot who said that happened to be the healer. He stood in three orbs as they appeared...didn't move died. He's screaming for a brez, but me and the other three druids weren't having it and group wipes.

Now...I should have said nothing, but I couldn't help it. I go in raid chat "Wow, been a long time since I saw someone with that gs die so fast in a raid." He was none too happy, but he earned it and after another attempt we down frost boss. Then... We get to fire. He stands in fire and wipe... And I /leave group.

Don't think it was you; the frost badge gear alone is probably enough.

And lol, people who are decked out who think they can get healed through fire because THEY ARE LEET DPS amuse me.

Well, what I meant by what I said was imagine if our pet was the only tank in the group or it happened to be a primary tank because, let's say, the other tanks sucked or they were undergeared. At least, as long as we keep control of our pets, they won't constantly do what you've experienced with plenty of players that tank too much out of cockiness. As long as we're not cocky ourselves and send our pets back when it gets a bit rough. At least our pets would know when to quit sometimes when they're ahead.

I kinda blame this lack of wisdom on the lack of runs I've been in. Don't get me wrong, I've always appreciated the level 80's for helping me go through to RFK and WC recently but I have always ended up just soloing instances by myself when I am at a high enough level. At that case, it's only me and my pet to worry about, but again, I don't get cocky. I always pull one at a time and prepare if more than one has to come.

Had a 'wonderful' group for my resto drood on Bloodhoof and it made me stop questing on her for a day or so after it happened.

Was doing RFC the moment she dinged 15 for ofc, all the rfc quests. On the last run of the day with none of her quests completed, zone in and imidiately the healer goes 'Warrior tanks are shit'. Oh lord, EPeen at lv 15? Really? REALLY?

Well after some abuse and the healer afking without clearly saying he's afk, and him dicking about finally I snap, if you're not going to fucking heal why queue as healer? As Amarai had gotten in as dps for the run. He and his hunter buttbuddy start attacking me, and I snap a 'I'm sorry but I didn't see the '1 sec' the healer said' then they insult me and call me blind and finally I snap oh shut up.

They don't. The hunter then starts heckling Amarai for having, get this, BoA gear. And so I laugh him off, and he goes I'ma %#$% you. And I go lol. And then he actually pauses and goes 'I'll rape you' and I go lolol, I'm so afraid of your Epeen. I'm cowering in sight of your penis right now. I'm so scared of your big ass dick'. And evidently this wasn't the response they expected. They attack me some more, and tbh as much as I'm disgusted by their idiocy and being turned off from continuing the group I am starting to just laugh at their stupidity also.

Finally all their harassment makes the tank leave, and as they're insulting the tank for leaving and trying to harass the pally into tanking, I just go, Now see what you did? and just leave.

But god, those two retards from bladefist took the cake tbh.

Here's another kind of crappy group...

My ICC-25 pug on Wednesday... We pretty much blast through the first 4 bosses, and then before we can get to the next boss, 6 people ninja-log because they didn't get DBM or their token or whatever.. so the other 19 people are saved to that fail because they were so selfish!! AARRggh!!!

Playing on my alt hunter last night and get into a group who every five seconds is putting up dps count. We're level 45-48's and clearly not in a heroic but this tank is dps obsessed for some reason and won't shut up and is constantly cussing. I'm 3rd in the list but in the last dungeon was second so I'm not sure why the change for me. Not even a minute later he does another recount and I am now fourth in dps. I found this really odd since I was doing everything the exact same.
Now he's starts bitching about my dps and everyone elses. I get tired of his constant recounts and complaints and cussing then I pipe up and say "Are we in a heroic?" and for once the tank is quiet. I asked again "Are we in a heroic??" Tank still quiet. I said "I was beginning to think that we're in a heroic dungeon since you're so dps obsessed. We're only levels 45-48 and not heroic so dps really doesn't matter here. So quit with the constant recounts and talking." A minute after saying that he pipes up and says "i g2g" then just left.
Come to find out some of the group had ran a dungeon already with him before I entered. He acted the same but was seemingly bragging about being baked out of his gourde and trying to play. So we had a fowl mouthed drugged up tank who must have thought he was in a epic heroic with a crappy 5 man group.
What a loser.

Heh. I doubt he thought it was a heroic. He probably was just stumpted for an answer. Good on you for calling him out on it.

At lower levels, a level or two really make a big difference in dps. There's the obvious stat difference but also big dps spells are introduced at different levels. Throughout the brackets, you'll always find some on top over others. It's really not balanced. Add to that the heirloom gear - I have 5 pieces for my healers, but not my dps, and certainly not on Nesingwary. Yeah, my ele shammy's dps, with her 2 spell power, will suck compared to your 15 spell power priest's. So what? It's Ragefire Frikkin' Chasm.

He may have also had an older version of recount going on that wasn't displaying the numbers properly. I've had times where I was sitting beside my partner and our recount's showed two completely different things, even WITH an updated recount, though. So.....yea. *Laughs*

Funny you should mention that but on one of the recounts it didn't even show me on the list even though I was in the dungeon. Huh. Odd.

The guy was probably spamming meters for each pull as opposed to the overall meters for the dungeon. Which, quite frankly, is stupid. Any class that's designed to AoE is going to easily top meters there. Trash meters really only show who's afking the instance (or is the wrong class, like rogues pre-80 or priests pre-75).

So yeah, wouldn't worry about those meters much. :P

Honestly, I don't even look at the meters on my lowbie toons. Only reason they're there is cause I use Skada and need the threat meter. I'm too lazy to create a second profile in Skada. I wish I was kidding!

*sigh* Sometimes I just switch off chat and pretend everybody's just playing quietly and competently together. /wistful sigh.

Aarg another one. I need a whine and cry now.

Yay my only upgrades for now are from PoS HC...Surgeons needle, sound familiar? Besides that it didn't drop. Yes we cleared the hill quite fine....okay I died once AGAIN. The tank was a first timer and told us about it. He was doing fine actually, if you don't count aggro problems.

We get into the cave and take the break point at the middle. We never get to the scourgelord why? I don't know every scourge is suddenly on me! Oh and our tank was alive as I died...our warlock after we ran in smartmouthed our paladin tank away.
Our other smartmouth hunter said it was my fault because I healed the tank when he was half dying. And does Wild Growth cause that much aggro these days?! Next time I am letting that hunter die because she needed the healing too.
Personally I think it's eithers fault...just bad luck.

The hunter said one word to me "aoe healing"....I'd love to get a better comment so I can better myself as a healer.

Healing causes so little aggro now day's that everyone else would have had to of seriously not been doing any DPS for them to run right for you. Unless it was right at first.

And uh, isn't it your job, to heal the tank? Just curious.....

And here is a rule of mine! Unless you've got damn good reason to be a smartass, shut the hell up. If it's DPS, I'll ignore it when it gets annoying enough. If it's a tank or a healer, I'll grit my teeth, then ignore them before the instance ends. But after they'd scared off the tank, I'd have just left. No excuse for being that much of a jerk.

I've actually had that problem often, Sonata. That tunnel is terrible. You know why you pulled aggro with a heal? Because the tanks think they can body pull the half tunnel and only do damage to the mobs at the end. Inevitably, every time I run the place, I end up with mobs on me by the end of that tunnel.

Oh if it was the tunnel then I understand entirely. That tunnel isn't to bad, but everyone has to know what they are doing, including/especially the tank. Otherwise you end up with a massive !@#$fest.

The hill and the tunnel are the reason why PoS runs fail so many times IMO.
I stomp my foot on that run...but meh. Their own fault and I can always try again tomorrow...while wondering why does Garfrost even need that needle.

Oh it took me soooooo many runs to get the needle. Of course, not on my hunter, where it dropped every single goddam time I ran the damn place... but not for Echo. *sigh* Anyway, I got it in the end. :) You'll get it, I'm sure, and it'll be such a victory.

Actually with pally tanks and even Caim, they can make it halfway to the tunnel just fine.

Oh wait, you said body pull. I usually do more than body pull :|

yeah when it's just body pulling those tanks are fail >_<
