Just been poddling in the coliseum. The mimic monsters are neutral enemies that are chests with tongues, basically. They drop strange chests too. I'm pretty sure you find them everywhere too.

Been in coliseum and got 32 chests - all leaf insects, mirrors and living stones >_< I guess the scrolls are gonna be SUPER DUPER rare

2 candles and...4 Nocturne puppets...they're really teasing us this time around :/

Anyway, I had a ruby ring drop from the coliseum and its got one of those special stars in the corner of it...does it have a use?

The mimic chest are confirmed to spawn in the woodland path, the scorched forest, the waterway, the arena, the kelp beds, and the golem workshop. You can't miss em, the chests are monsters which look like chests balancing on a tongue. the spawnrate is pretty low though!

for me the arena is the best... 1000 battles and 250 chest.. not too bad a drop rate

Yeah I've been grinding for 7 hours now aaaand I'm pretty sure I've got over 400-500 chests and I've only gotten a mimic familiar and a sunbeam bear + a fungus bear to show for it

some people are super lucky and get an egg or scroll in 20 chests, other people aren't, it's total bullshit RNG

both me and my gf have been at it for awhile and she's only gotten two mimic familiars and a fire bear imposter
/sighs

i hate grinding so much, i feel like i'm going stircrazy trying to sit here and kill things in coli

and with how FR is lagging right now, it's making it worse i can barely concentrate on coli at all i've started bouncing my leg so hard that i've hit it against my desk a few times ugh

w/e i guess but i've started collecting the candles and puppets from the chests so idk if y'all have any that you dont care about parting with toss them at me cause they're literally the only thing i'm enjoying from this laggy shit right now

Um...is this just the horrible lag speaking. I am getting an error saying "This dragon is ineligible for exaltation." Um...wha? theres no familiar, it's not up for auction...wtf?

Nope, it's not old enough. Im exalting it because it isnt selling and I need the room XD It has to be lag, just never seen that error before. *shrugs*
