Well my pally made the transition ok. Not big on some of the emotes and I really wish their ears kept more of the movement they once had when Expressing certain emotions. they seem pretty stiff now.
I'm still adjusting to the new faces. My little pally got stuck with the hideous flat nosed duck face so I had to go change that. :P I think he looks pretty hansom in his new mog with his new look though.

I really don't like my hunter. :s

I hope they still tweak it.. right now they just look so lifeless. Only one face is smiling; all the other ones look sad or pissed off. No proud/cocky faces anymore. Doesn't help that their heads are tilted down making them look even more depressed. The old ones held their heads high & looked straight ahead, making them look proud and confident.

Yeah, I can live with it but...they've still got a lot of work to do I feel, especially with just the model glitches and clipping alone. I feel that they were rushed to get them out for 6.1 so hopefully they're going to revisit them in a later patch and make some tweaks like they have with some of the other races.

I'm fairly happy with the males actually, the only off-putting feature is the duckface but I feel like it's unintentional since the base models did not have the lips puckered like that and a lot of people think it's a rigging issue. It's also one of the most voiced criticisms on the feedback thread so I don't think they'll ignore it. And yeah, then there's all the clipping issues the males have. The long hair styles don't sit right on the chests and float awkwardly, male hunters have their torsos twisted completely around while running and shooting at the same time, and a lot of the armor and tabards are clipping through the new models.

Females are a complete disappointment to me, as I've already said, but I hope they'll fix something. :/ The faces are just...so awful, and don't retain the look and feel of the originals at all. Someone made a really nice comparison chart with some suggested fixes and it just goes over everything I dislike about the new faces: http://i.imgur.com/qZHHrZ1.jpg I hate that they made the eyes so anime large, and gave them that weird permanent head tilt. I don't know, they just feel completely different to me and I'm not a fan.

For Veph I'm mostly upset with her face and her hair, the style is totally different, especially the bangs, and the colour of it is far lighter. Not to mention her skintone has gone a shade darker and it's just. Bleh. All of it is so disappointing.

I think the revamps of both sexes are really really good improvements on the old models. I'm loving how my lock looks now. She's so pretty! XD

Those edits are done very well, IMO. I'm generally not a fan of tweaking things too much after they've been released, because we don't want to end up with an even bigger mess, but those are nice.

The thing which borthers me the most about the female bloodelfs is the groin area ....I noticed Kahlua´s transmorg is almost xrated now :(.. i will need to find her a better mog

Image

and that her eyes glow more than they used too and her hair is less red...

viewed from the side the eyes looks really weird

Image

i DO like this new hairdue which Kahlua will wear from now on

Since most of my B.Elves are male, I have to say that I really don't like those heavy creases on the side of the mouth. They make them look haggard, or zombie-like.

I've only found two face choices that don't have those prominent creases, so now all of my toons are identical twins.

I dunno Tarn, those pants were already pretty risqué before.....

I agree, Sukurachi, those heavy lines are what really throw me off. I'm all for one or two faces having them, but almost all of the faces have them. :| Still, I feel that any tweaks that need to be done can always be added in later, like these other ones. Nothing is written in stone, so let's just keep making suggestions, and hopefully Blizz will listen. :) I mean, heck, they totally changed the nelf male run! It looks way better now. Still not perfect, but much better.

Yeah, the distant optimism of additional tweaks is all that's keeping me going right now. I feel almost positive that there will be some fixes in a later patch, because currently there's too many problems to ignore and the community has been almost unanimous with criticism toward some of the features. I'm still thinking that they just ran out of time (for some reason, even though the models were already delayed...) and had to push them out as-is. Hopefully whatever tweaks they implement will make them a bit more palatable to me.

...I don't like Devlin's look as much after this update. The hair's not dark enough and I'm having trouble finding a face I can work with.

Taebory, on the other hand, looks okay.

My two female B.Elves look awesome. I'm actually quite happy with them.

But I REALLY can't live with how the males are now.
thank the Light Well I mostly just see my toons from behind while playing.

ouch. that looks pretty embarrassing. I saw a similar issue show up on the forums where the pants looked like they were possibly...leaking... :?

think the blood elves may want to just go for shorts for a while.

I think it's the new crease beside the leg that's giving it a more risque appearance. It's showing about the same amount of skin, but the new models are more defined and that one line makes it look a lot worse than it was before. xD

Ooooh! I see it now. Yeaaaah. Well we always knew wearing thongs to a raid is a bad idea unless you're trying to give the boss a nosebleed.
