and for those new genes...Hypnotic resembles daub a little to much i think?

Mm, I was actually thinking the same thing. At first I couldn't tell that it was a new gene because it looked so familiar. I do like it though, I guess it gives some nice options. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks on some other breeds. I'm kind of excited about the primary though, I bet it'll look awesome on spirals if it's snakelike.

Yeah a lot of people said that the new gene and Daub look really similar and tbh I agree :\
at least we'll have the piebald gene to look forward to lmao

Suddenly this treasure going towards a lair expansion will be saved for something else. Not sure if I like the new genes or not but knowing me I'll need then anyway

i know i need it for at least 4 dragons

the bar/daub double pairs one of them will be getting this gene

totally different subject.. does this look silly/hard to read?..and is the rose in the middle?

i like my theme for my lair so i just need to redo the graphic for the background on 63 pairs

It's a bit hard to read, but that's cause the font is scrunched up a bit
and yea I'm pretty sure the rose is in the middle, but I wouldn't take my word for that since I'm bad at judging placement

I agree the secondary gene looks like a copy of daub. Kind of a bummer they approved a look alike.

@Tarn - You may have changed it or not but the lair theme sign, while pretty, I think has too many roses. But that could be just me.

i am sitting and cropping letters together now for the pair names of my 63 pairs as this is not a font but just an alphabet i found on google so have to put everything together by hand.. soooo much work

..but i think it looks gothic and pretty

There's a fun thread over on FR called the Narcissism Thread that's sort of a turn based forum game where everyone comments on their favourite dragon of the above poster's lair. I know we have the Show off your Dragons thread here already, but not everyone can always comment since there's usually a lot of dragons on each page and it moves fairly quickly, plus in general it's just a place to show off your recent nests, apparel, or acquisitions. I was wondering if it might be neat have a secondary thread in the same vein as the Narcissism Thread, it might be less overwhelming if you just feel like browsing someone's lair and commenting on one dragon at a time, plus everyone gets a chance that way without being skipped over.

What does everyone think? Too similar to what we already have? I think they're different enough myself, since it would always be a surprise to find out which of your dragons gets complimented instead of choosing yourself who to show off. The only possible downside I see is that not everyone has their lairs linked in their forum signatures here. People would have to provide an easy link to their lairs, but if they're participating in the thread it shouldn't be too hard. I think it could be fun personally.

I kinda wanna get back into this, does anyone know when the next registration happens? I'll probably stay small this time...got too big on my last lair and got tedious trying to do anything.
