PTR Beasts/Pets Info ~ 6.2

I know it doesn't seem likely at this point, but i really hope they put in a rare, or spirit beast that is a fel wolf. I've wanted one since i seen the mother of wolves in frostfire. Oh and hi, long time reader, finally made a account lol.

Finally found the Fel Boar. Something seems... off to me. There is only one that I have found, and its just on the side of the Citadel on the rocks. Just a lonely elite by itself. Just struck me as odd. Glad its in though!

So glad the Fel boar made it in - one of the only boars I'm interested in taming.

I'm really bummed a Pterrorwing never showed up though. If we don't get Farahlon, Tanaan would be the second most fitting place I'd think. Not that Pterrorwings were ever confirmed to even live on Draenor but hey I'll take anything. I'll never give up hope. xD

Indeed let us hope for some skyscreamers/pterrorwings even if they aren't fel corrupted, though that would be AWESOME. But if the next expansion is naga inspired ( * eye of azshara * trademark before blizzcon last year ) then I guess the skyscreamers will be reserved for a Zandalar patch/quest chain, hopefuly we will get some unarmored skyscreamer mounts too, the sleepy helmet just ruins it.

Hmm, we really need to set up a wish thread again. I was wanting this one reserved for 6.2 stuff we find.

Having said that, there's one skyscreamer in Draenor and the lore pointed to it being brought over from Azeroth, which suggests they aren't native to Draenor as well.

Also might add that it's probably no use wishing for that "reptilian" model chimaera at this point.

I believe it was stealth removed from the database quite some time ago. The skin is still there but the model seems to be gone. Lucky I have a copy

It's a real shame. I think it was by FAR the more interesting model. Why they suddenly removed it in the Beta, and subbed in what (almost nobody could deny) is an updated Azeroth chimaera is bizarre and puzzling. But they did, and they must have had a reason. Hopefully it'll return some day.

Mania has updated Petopia again, so it now includes the fel boar and fel wolf. It should hopefully now include all 6.2 changes.

The home page highlights that there are eight previously unavailable looks to be tamed. They're looking really good.

Also, Mania has adjusted the table of families so that exotics are included in the main body, rather than just as a separate table at the end. This makes it much easier to search.
