More of a conflicted than rant I guess, I realize that I probably won't ever get all of the 2013 apparel, and only one piece really is needed by my dragons anyways so I think I may want to sell the rest of the pieces I have...bleh

So, I get this email in my inbox today titled 'potential scam?'

"Hello,
Sorry to bother you, I'm not even sure you care or not (or if I should have let you know) but I recently got a PM from a user named ---- asking if I wanted to buy one of their dragons, but the link they provided goes to your lair (specifically your imperial boy Tyren). Now I had a hard time understanding the user as their English wasn't the best, but I was wondering if you know this person at all? I'm not accusing you of anything obviously, I'm just a tad bit confused and want to figure out what's going on before jumping to any conclusions."

So I sent this back:

"I'm sorry to hear about this confusion! I will see if I can help clear it up! Perhaps ---- PMed you about the dragon before I purchased it? I purchased Tyren from ---- on 6/11. So if you received the PM before 6/11 or even earlier that day, that could be why? I don't know the person at all outside that one transaction. They had the dragon up on AH on 6/11 and I sent them a PM asking if they'd take a gem payment instead of treasure. We worked out a deal and they sent me the dragon via CR the same day. Hope that helps at least and I'm sorry if they ended up selling him to me before you could reply. If it's any consolation (and I didn't know this until after I purchased the dragon), I know the person who originally bred Tyren! Her name is Taarnfalk and this is her hatchery: A Match Made in Heaven. The parents are Joker x Harlequin. She's very sweet and you can always ask to be added to their ping list if you'd like a boy like Tyren."

So heads up to you Tarn. I get some of the absolute WEIRDEST messages sometimes... I mean, who just goes and assumes that when they click on a dragon someone PMs them about and it's in another lair, that it's a scam and not just already been sold? Come on people. Wise up a bit. /facepalms

Why's the Light Consort skin for make Guardians so expensive?! ;-; I swear it was only around the 150k mark a few weeks ago...

Jet will have to be naked now, unless a new light skin comes out for him at some point.

I second the tumblr community getting out of hand in FR. I got a forum ban recently for telling somebody that pixel dragons arent out to get them. ffs. its like you cant even breed a dragon to another without offending somebody. I love the game, but the tumblr SJWs have got to GO. they are ruining the game, they have cost stormlight staff their jobs, theyre just completely out of control and its not okay.

While we obviously cannot speak for the entirety of the Tumblr community, heck, I'm sure a few lovelies on this forum use Tumblr too, I can't lie when I say that the majority of the drama caused seems to either come from there or escalate through it. I never, ever get involved in huge debates or events on FR (I'm quite the quiet little dragon breeder) but when I see them happen, Tumblr is almost always involved.

(Also welcome to the forums Felahr! Hopefully we don't scare you off too soon.)

The only reason I joined yall is because of the tumblr-trans-"phobia"-drama hate that went on a few pages back. I was, incidentally, googling "Silver Meditate gif" and this thread came up. Thank you google gods for leading me to a paradise where I wont be threatened with violent death for having opinions. *blows kisses*

UGH... Don't EVEN get me started on tumblr. I have an account, which I seriously regret having a majority of the time, but I rarely use it due to some of the stuff that goes on there. /shudder
Sometimes I need a whole lot of brain bleach when I read some of those articles, including a majority of the dramarising posts anymore. TBH, this whole thing about Baldwin just makes me go W.T.F.
Anyway.....

WTH is it with people on FR lately and jacking up prices sky high if someone is interested. I got some of the rudest replies to a few of my polite inquiries for an accent today. Luckily one person out of that majority was decent, but wow, I really am shocked at the amount of self-centered, jerk-arse people I encounter lately.

I use tumblr a lot honestly, but all I do is follow my WoW friends and look at cat pictures with it. If I see something go past I don't like, boom, block-o-rama.

Oh my god Drama Rising is the worst most disgusting cesspool of hatred I have ever seen. I mean... I know it basically says it in the title but that place is horrid beyond belief. Makes me really, really glad I never wanted or decided to make a skin or accent or anything, because someone out there will be all over how horrible you are as a person for making it or some shit.

I mean, people can't just say, "I'm not a fan of that" or anything anymore. They have to word it more like, "That's the most vile, horrid piece of shit I've ever seen and I don't know why anyone likes it anyway." This sort of attitude and nature I have only ever found from Tumblr. Just... what the hell is wrong with some people?

Sorry for the double post, but I'm trying not to crack up from the ridiculously stupid mistake I just realised I've made.

I've been after a maize/ivory/ivory Skydancer male to go with my magenta/ivory/ivory girl for a long time now. I HAVE A PAIR THAT PRODUCES THOSE COLOURS... AND ONLY THOSE COLOURS. Sure he wouldn't be a cry/face like I want him to be but I can't find any others and I could just gene him myself. I'm just laughing at how I never even realised this. xD

I swear, common courtesy just isn't common anymore. I -almost- sent an email to politely tell a person today that if you're going to keep a dragon someone has inquired about, it's at least polite to respond to the person and let them know. ARGH. I sent an email. No reply. I sent a very lucrative (for a triple basic non-gen one, non-old dragon). It gets rejected. WTF. I mean, out of all the triple basics that person hatched. THAT ONE is the one they suddenly decided to keep? I wonder if it's just because I showed interest? Oh well. *throws hands up in the air* I swear this is why I either do my own breeding projects or get help from Petopians. *sigh*
