Managed to save up enough apexis for the Corrupted dreadwing! Such a bad*** mount And honestly getting enough apexis wasn't too horrible. I already had 60k when the patch went live as I made sure to cap it, and getting the rest was a breeze. Did a few Skettis missives and Tanaan really does give you an abundance between the dailies, bonus objectives, creatures and treasures.




Blackfang claws on the other hand... MUCH bigger pain than apexis. After around 6 hours of farming I was wayyy past exalted and only had enough claws for the revered boar that costs 1,000. It'll be a long grind to get the 5,000 claw one. The claws just drop in such small quantities especially when in a group.



I also bought the two gold sink mounts from the garrison.




That makes 315 mounts. I hope they make two new achievements one day - one for 300 and one for 350.

And here I was, happy to be getting my Corrupted Dreadwing and a handful away from 250 >.<

Wow Lupen! That's incredible, and I am filled with envy at your lovely corrupted dreadwing! ♥ It's what I'm striving for most right now. I was unable to cap my apexis before the patch, but I'm up to 100k already so hopefully within 5 more days or so I should have it. Very impressive mount count as well, I've hardly scraped past 200 myself so far.

I'm still farming all four Pandaria world boss mounts with over 100 kills each, Invincible, Pureblood Firehawk, Mimiron's Head, Astral Cloudserpent, Blazing Drake, Lifebinder's handmaiden and Experiment 12-B ;-; Also making sure to kill the four Hellbane rares in Tanaan - not a single mount from them yet.

...I have no hope of getting Rukhmar's mount any time soon.

So yeah. Not a lot of luck lately but at least I have some things to work towards

Congrats Lupen, as the others said, very impressive number of mounts. How did you get that many? And I thought I was good with reaching 250...

Uhh, just a lot of farming and saving up gold lol. I've played for close to eight years and I've always enjoyed collecting mounts the most, so I've been accumulating them for awhile. I camped the rares like Huolon, TLPD, Aeonaxx. Solo'd every raid and heroic dungeon I've had the ability to and now working my way to the MoP raids. I've done a lot of metas and mount achievements. I made sure to get exalted with every faction with a mount. I've bought all of the gold and profession mounts save for a few like the yak. I also have a few of the TCG mounts...

Trust me, RNG has rarely been kind xD but even RNG has to give in after months and months.

Speaking of RNG I did actually get one more mount yesterday - the Warsong Direfang! I've killed all four of the Hellbane rares each day since the launch of 6.2 but this is my first mount from them, and my favorite



Edit: And I just got revered with Order of the awakened so I now have my Skyterror! He's so dang cute lol.

Grats to everyone getting their mounts! @Vephriel I really love how nicely your mog matches your mount. Since the patch went live I've been off collecting mounts, pets and toys as usual for me. Here's a few of my mount accomplishments so far. I've been having a really good luck streak lately when it comes to the dropped mounts. I've had six of the mount cages drop across my two characters that farm them and six of those rep tokens. Twice I've had a mount cage and a rep token drop in the same kill.

Man these past 2 weeks were quite grindy, the blackfang claws were a real pain with all the world pvp going on, but i managed to get most new mounts, 317 mounts on my hunter 370 total on the account, actually even made it front page on guildox, number 45 in the world mount count! http://guildox.com/rank/mounts , now to get lucky with the Riverbeast rare ship mission and the painfull vicious war kodo 3s grind.

Yay i can finally stop ruinning all over tanaan jungle for those 4 rares - I got my last mount tonight (no doubles either!!) so happy the wolf was the last one and the one I really wanted





And my third garrison mount! Just the garn mount (the only i really want lol!) to go!!

Yessssss finally! I have wanted this mount so badly and for so long... Finding groups that could correctly do the achievements was a pain in the rear. But then all that was left were the ritualists... and I got the two needed today by myself by continuously resetting the instance for over an hour.

I've been hoping for Skyscreamers as pets as I'm a huge dinosaur fanatic and I think the model looks great. I'm so happy I can at least ride around on the mount now.

Oh my god guys.. I'd completely forgotten about trying to look for this mount, because it's so tedious to camp for. So imagine my surprise when I completely randomly bumped into a portal while I took a wrong turn on my way to a treasure on an alt.

I literally walked into it as it spawned.

Was just about to give up checking for the Voidtalon for the day, and saw the portal by Socrethar's Rise. Headed to Firelands not long after and finally got the Flametalon.

Got all the firehawks (green/yellow/purple) and all the talons (ravenlord/yellow/purple)! Would be nice if there was a green talon mount too (it's in the game files already).
