Demon Hunter

Horns come with different styles, types, no horns is an option.
Tattoos are another feature with variations.
Skins can be normal, scaly, different colors.
Eye coverings
Hero Class - unique starting experience and start at a high level.
Awaken in the Vault of the Wardens, awoken to fight the Legion.
See the past, Illidan sends you on a mission to another world.
Demon Hunter specs - Havok (DPS Spec) and Vengeance (Tank Spec). Only two specs. Demon Hunter healer didn't make sense. Two DPS or Tank specs would water down the identity of the class.
Skills can cost Fury or generate Fury.
Spectral Sight - Allows you to see through walls
Double Jump - get over things that other classes cannot!

Kinda cool...we'll see what sticks around.

Double jump? Awesome. Too bad you couldn't have a class flight form like druids though, where demonic wings sprout from your back. Eh one can dream.

I know they were never ranged but I do wish one of their specs were ranged. We already have a melee hero class... at least give us range lovers a spec.

In regards to some of the Artifact Weapons, Doomhammer and Ashbringer, on MMO-C it looks like the current theory is that Thrall and Tirion will no longer be around so that's how you get their weapons. Hope that's not true. I'd rather see Tirion retire and hand off Ashbringer. On the fence with Thrall. XP

I was really hoping Demon Hunters would wear Mail Armor. Really bugs me since there was already 3 plate, 3 cloth, and 3 leather-wearers already and only 2 mail. I suppose it comes down to no mail tank gear though. Oh well, minor annoyance at most.

I am so pumped for this, I can't even begin to describe. Was odd that they decided to (seemingly) wrap up Azshara and the Emerald Dream here though, instead of saving them for their own expansions. :/

I know it's a lore thing, but I really don't like the elf races that much, so that greatly diminishes my desire to play a DH. I'll admit to kinda hoping they were like the DH from D3, but oh well.

I'm really not hyped about this expansion, maybe even less than WoD. It could be cause WoD just about killed it for me tho. I wonder how much of that content will be cut before release...

Lack of new races (again) is a huge disappointment for me, since this class doesn't really feel that different. I'll probably try a DH, but really not sure on it.

There was no comment on whether there would be flying it seems...which is kinda suspicious.

Plus it seems surv hunters going to be melee as well (there artifact wep is a spear.) gonna be a melee mosh-pit around bosses then .....

Yeah agreed-a ranged hero class would be loved. A lot of the rumors floating around hinted at it being ranged so I was really excited till it was officially announced. I'll flip a table if the next hero class is yet again tank/melee only.

(On the MM going to melee thing-we only have one non-magic range class as it is and now one of the specs is going melee? Makes me sad-but good for those hunters who were wanting it. As long as it is not my BM I am okay I guess)
