It looks like there may be several Demon Hunter mounts.
- The first is the Felsaber, which is awarded during the starting quest line for the class:
- In addition a "Demonsaber" (demonic cat, probably based on the new saber model?) has been datamined.
- A new icon suggests that there is a special Felbat mount for demon hunters also. The "felbat" is actually a demonic creature that looks more like a gargoyle than a regular bat.
Spirit of Eche'ro is a spirit moose mount that will be gained through Archaeology. Maybe we'll see a spirit moose tameable too?
Blurry image:
Enchanted Chicken - a chicken mount created through the enchanting profession. No idea what it will look like. Perhaps it'll be based on the existing chicken mount model, but... more sparkly? Who knows!
There is a new "Charger" for Paladins. I hope this is a placeholder name since there's already a Charger. In fact, there used to be two, but they renamed the Blood Elf one to Thalassian Charger. I would have speculated this was copied data in preparation for a new Paladin race mount, but I think they already denied planning any more race/class combos at this stage. Maybe I'm wrong.
There will be a range of new "Prestige" PvP mounts which can only be gained through the new Honor system. Once you earn one, you can reset your Honor (or Prestige or something) and earn a rank all over again to attain a new mount (or other cosmetic item). So far we only have two names:
- Prestigious War Wolf
- Prestigious War Steed
They've also shown us an image of one of the mounts and it's a horse that is a recolour of the Vicious War Steed. So this is quite possibly the Prestigious War Steed mentioned above:
An "Arcane" Hippogryph mount model was datamined by MMO-Champ:
(Note, the white aura is almost certainly due to MMO-Champ's model rendering not handling the textures properly, much like the runesaber. It will probably have a purple aura or something).
Basilisk mount(s) - there is a datamined icon for a basilisk mount. Presumably it will be based on the brand new basilisk model we saw in the demon hunter starting zone footage.
Other moose mounts. There's a datamined icon for another moose mount. Presumably this will be a simpler model than the Grove Warden.
Another felbat mount. There's a datamined icon for another felbat mount. This is separate from the demon hunter mount mentioned above. Presumably based on the new demon model, not the previous bat model.
There are icons for other Draenor wolf mounts. Not sure what the plan is there. Maybe there'll be more than one PvP Prestige wolf, or maybe they have other sources.
What else might we see?
* Probably new drake mounts, based on the storm drake and nightmare drake models. It's rare for them to create a new drake and not make a mount out of it.
* What appears to be a new hippogryph colour was spotted in one zone (not the monochrome purple one, above). Perhaps there'll be a mount version.
* since we're seeing upgraded Druid cat models, we can hope to see more mounts similar to the saber2 model, which the Runesaber is based on, but perhaps with regular organic skins.

I like the horse - the first mount I EVER wanted in wow waaaaaaay back in Vanilla was the black armoured stallion - back then you needed to have a certain pvp rank to own it then it became a bg thing I lost my mind! I hope this one is along the same lines Else I'm gonna have to learn how to pvp better ><
I think the black horse was mentioned as a reward for completing the new pvp tree multiple times. Thus why it uses the same model and armor as the rbg horse. but on the up side of things, it sounds like pvp is going to be getting an overhaul that will help with all the imbalances in pvp!

I'm still completely confused why they did that - replaced a creepy-cool, detailed model that looked like it belonged on Draenor with something very plain and Azeroth-looking. I figured they had a really good reason to pull great artwork during the Alpha, but whatever it was we haven't seen any sign of it since (except for all those skulls around Draenor they didn't replace that related to the pulled model). If they do show up in the Broken Isles I'll be really happy to see them, but they'd have to come up with the world's best explanation before I'd be convinced that what they did wasn't a terrible decision for the artwork of WoD.

I think Rylaks are just uncorrupted Outland Chimearas.

I do wonder if that is their argument, but if so I just don't believe it. I accept that they get to set the lore, so it can be what they want. They could say Outland chimeras once looked like squirrels and it would magically then be lore, but it doesn't make the story seem any more credible to the person experiencing it.
Pop posted this on another thread but I thought I should also post it here too. This is NOT official Blizzard art, but rather the winner of a Blizzard-run student art contest in 2014. A previous winner, the carousel, made it into the game (in the Darkmoon Faire) some time ago so there is precedent for using the art in the game.
If Hyenas are found on the Isles, how awesome would this be? I imagine it's something a drogbar would ride...

Love it. Though I'd want it in more Earthy colors, or maybe reds and orange, just because that's my favorite kind of thing.

I need this thing! It looks so good! Hopefully it would come with a hyena family update as well.

It boggles my mind because in WoD, we had a lack of cool, unique mounts for regular players as well as a cool rare hunter pet that they could tie into a storyline, rather than a recoloured Gara. They had a model right there, waiting to be used, that already caught people's interest.
And they just waved dismissively and got rid of it.
