Omg I see a hug emote, unless I missed that..in that case for everyone.
My mothers back is in knots, Her arthritis (obviously in her back) isn't helping..father complain about cleaning her guinea pigs because they smell horrid. (They really do). I just watched Buzzfeed video for Bros and money, looked at the comments...sexist Mudkipz. Girlfriends aren't the cause, guys spend money too. Why do people have to be like that, it pisses me off so much. Carrying at least 60 pounds of school supplies sucks, and the heat doesn't help..blah.
I am SO sick of "religious" people demanding the right to discriminate against others simply because they are "religious".
I am SOOOOO sick of these "religious" people screaming that they are being persecuted and discriminated against because they cannot impose their beliefs on others.
Freedom of religion also includes freedom FROM religion.
Practice your bronze-age beliefs all you want in your private life... but don't step on anyone else's toes while doing so.
No one is discriminating against "christians", no one is persecuting "christians", no one is being put in jail because of their beliefs.
If you end up in jail because of your beliefs, take a second and think about it... what exactly did you do to end up in jail? Did you, for example, commit contempt of court by refusing to follow a supreme court justice's decision?
Did the judge offer you the chance to get by all of this, by... oh, let's say, letting OTHER people in your office do the job you refuse to do (despite being paid for it) and you STILL refused?
Then you're in jail for contempt of court, for breaking the law, for committing and illegal act. It has NOTHING whatsoever to do with your religion. The only person making it about religion, is YOU!
Keep your religious BS out of my life.

Getting shoved out of an event I was looking forward to because some chick is a total b-word. Seriously, fuck you. You've been reported for harassing me and this is what you do.

So much this.
Also to add....
Your beliefs are to be left AT HOME. You DO NOT take them to work or other public places. The moment you walk in the door, your beliefs stay behind.
I'm so tired of assholes trying to shove their beliefs down my throat and then try to enforce it on my family when my parents want nothing to do with it.
So much for freedom of speech or does that only apply to atheists? Btw I am not religious at all but I do believe in freedoms and telling someone what they can and can't say is bullshit !
I want to stress when you work in a public (regulated) forum or government your beliefs should be left out of the workplace, whatever they are. Period you follow the law and do your damned job.

It's not a question of freedom of speech.
She (and others of her ilk) are free to spew anything they want.
The problem arises when they try to abuse their positions of authority (for example, being a clerk in a gov't office, or a judge who refuses to grant divorces "because gay marriage") by hiding behind their religious beliefs.
Freedom of speech applies to everyone. And the freedom to RESPOND when someone spews lies is part of that freedom.

Also, she's had kids out of wedlock, affairs, multiple divorces and... apparently this is better than gays getting married. Yeah, okay.
Oh she also says it doesn't count cause she wasn't Christian then.
And yeah, this isn't about speech at all. This is about separation of church and state....or to narrow it down...leaving your religious beliefs at home and not forcing it on others at work.
The proper thing would be leave it out of the workplace not leave it at home., and if you all read my post you would see I agree especially in a government position. There is no doubt the lady is an idiot and was wrong. There is a distinction between leave it at home and don't bring it to work.
The problem isn't "this woman" in particular (not that she's not a problem).
The real, and frightening, problem is the AMOUNT of people - and politicians! - who believe that religious rights should trump civil rights.
Those who feel that they are "politically conservative" and feel a duty to support the Republican party because of it have to think long and hard about just HOW politically conservative they are.
I'm a fiscal conservative. But I'd never vote for the conservative party in my country, because they aren't actually "conservatives". They are extreme right wing demagogues.
I always find it so odd that people vote republican thinking that they are fiscal conservatives, and yet, every republican government of the last 20 years has driven the country into dept, while every Democratic (ie: "liberal"... the complete opposite of fiscally conservative) government has left the country in a better place financially with a reduced debt, higher job rates, etc...
And now, people who call themselves "conservatives" want to impose their religious beliefs on the rest of the country. They misquote and misattribute religious meaning into the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
They point to the pledge of Allegiance, with it's "under God" phrase, never admitting that while the Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892, the phrase "under God" wasn't added until 1954. As a matter of fact, the man who wrote the Pledge was a Socialist.
How come so few Americans know any of this?
How come so many Americans continue to support politicians who would tear apart what was once a great country and install a theocracy in its place?
The irony of it all is hearing these people criticize Al Quaeda and ISIS as "religious extremists", yet not realizing that their own goal of installing a theocracy in the US is identical to that of the Islamic fundamentalists.
I simply can't anymore.
I'm glad I probably won't live long enough to see the results of all this BS.

Sigh... I've applied around. All over the place for at least SOME work. I think I might go for part time seasonal. I'm just really sick of people either giving me the run around when it comes to jobs or not getting back to me. v.v
Then I don't want to apply to anywhere else. I feel like it's useless or I won't get it either way and I'd just be wasting my time. Then that feeling goes onto "I'm useless" and I'll never amount to anything. RINSE AND REPEAT.

Because Extremisim for the unwashed masses is beheading a man, setting a child on fire or throwing someone of an unacceptable sexuality off a building - not a man in a suit with an American flag in the background telling them what they should believe to be moral and just.
My rant...kinda inspired by that remark...
I also see extremisim as that these people feel its ok to destroy the history of the world. I was just devasted to see the pictures of Palmyra and what they did to the man that dedicated his life to it. I'm not an overly religious person but these monuments belong to all mankind...how dare they destroy them! How can we just sit idly by and say "this is not our war" while history that stood for 2000yrs is blown up for some missguided caliphate?! How can we see images of beheaded children and men hung from buildings and say "its none of our business". I just wonder how this will all end....if it ever does.
Well the Middle East has been screwed up since the Crusades and I don't think it'll change for a long time sadly :S
What I hate is that when ever it becomes voting time for the states our news is nothing but spam about it! It's American stuff or shitty stuff about changing our flag. Look it might of worked well for Canada changing their flag to a leaf but I for one don't want a silver fern being on ours because I don't want to look like a sports team. *cough*All blacks*cough*
Canada's leaf is much cooler its red for one. Red is a great colour!

I wondered what New Zealanders actually thought of this. Most of the designs are fugly as and the only one that looked remotely good was the union jack still but as a maori design with the red stars. Like I get the whole "it looks like australia's flag" stuff but yeah I agree...the whole of New Zealand is not the All Blacks lol!!
I find this "change the flag" thing to be mostly a fad in our end of the world. Its too late. it seems abit silly to change it unless we actually got rid of the queen....and she's not a bad old bird anyway!

Agreeeeed. And removing confederate stuff just because all of a fuckin' sudden everyone is offended.
