So. I'm debating wind or water to try a new flight. Trouble is, I like nature, wind or water. Anyone have much experience with wind or water? Do they win Dom often or less than nature?

Oh my god. Poison and Toxin are incredible.

I love the look of them, and I'm still going through all the combinations in the Scrying Workshop because each colour seems to have its own distinct accent colour along with it, some of them not what you'd expect. There's so many possibilities! Ahhh I can't wait to get my hands on these genes.

Wow. Those look awesome. I'm still not sure what I wanna do flight wise. Most of the dom stats seem out of date. Maybe I should just flip a coin...

I wish I could give you an opinion Novi, but I never really...interact with the community and all and I hardly notice when my flight has dominance outside of elemental holidays;; The flights make no difference to me whatsoever with the exception of the eye colour of my hatchlings. In that regard I'd vote Wind since I find Nature and Water eyes a bit too dark on most dragons (it's the only reason I moved away from Shadow even though it's the flight that I connect with most thematically. Their eyes just didn't look very nice most of the time, too dark to show up and made dragons look dull).

It's all good. I really like ocean stuff, so I may just do that and one day make a back up account or loop my sister into going into this game.

Ahaha, yeah. I'm lucky I got one of my friends to join a few registration periods ago. They went with an Ice lair ultimately so if I really need white eyes I can use them, though most of the time I'm too lazy to actually bother with moving my pairings around just for breeding.

I'm fairly happy with Wind eyes, but I also feel kinda meh about the flight itself and would rather be in Shadow or Plague to suit my tastes. I could maybe do plague but...hrmg I can't eat the cost of changing flights now that I've used up my free one, so I'll just stick to windy I suppose.

Im like Veph. Im not involved in my flights community cept for the Odd show/steal dragon. I love plauges eye color and it fits most of the colors i like

Eh. I like ocean stuff. I have a degree in marine biology and I love aquatic critters. Water's blue eyes are tied with shadow's and nature's for my favorite. So I think it'll be fine for me to hit Water.

I LOVE Disguise with Poison/shimmer. The blue tones in Poison go so well with the shimmer.

Water is a wonderful flight, the only reason I left was I wanted the light lore, still miss it some days though

So.. What are the new genes actually worth? Like, If I paid someone to craft them for me (I don't have mats) What should I be expecting to pay?

With a Petopian I would imagine the cost of mats + the treasure cost Baldwin charges. Unfortunately I don't know prices for the mats.
