Warcraft 1+2. can you get it anywhere?

i miss the old warcraft 1 and 2 games.. are they freeware now? is there a safe place to get them?

As they are still property of Blizzard, you won't get them for free, that is for sure.
And even if you'd find a CD to buy, I highly doubt this will still run on a modern computer.

I buy older games only at Steam, as they usually keep them in a form you can run them.
Unfortunately, Blizzard Games are not available on Steam.

So, as far as I know, you can't get a playable version of the older Warcraft titles.
Maybe writing an e-mail to Blizzard could answer your question?

Oh, I know.
I still have Warcraft 2 and the Tides of Darkness addon somewhere here.

They were absolutely fantastic and the first games ever to get me into RTS.
