Any info on the Legion Improved Transmog System?

Now if only they'd let us mog some of the legendary weapons we've gotten.
I still don't quite understand why we can't use them for transmog. I mean, we DID get them, and now we're using more powerful weapons,so why not be at least able to use the look of something we worked to get?

I'm in agreement with this. I've been hanging out to use my Legendary Bow and original Sulfuras and seriously don't get why. Yeah sure legendaries are "special" but that time is over for most of them and now everyone can get them I don't get this rule at all. Why not show off those awesome weapon models again?! Vote 1 for legendary xmog!!!

the dumb reason they gave for this is that they don't want people to use legendaries that they can "farm" ...... wich is crap since "farming" means actually doing the raid, it is a weekly lockout it is not something you can just do over the coarse of a few sleepless nights like farming a dungeon..... people can go for a year and not have even 1 of the items required for the thunderfury quest....... I mean seriously if someone says I have thunderfury or glaives and it took me 2 years to get them.... I wouldn't be angry about that....


P.S. thunderfury aspect is gonna be a toy that everyone can use........ A BLOODY FUKIN TOY........ and yet they don't want to lets us transmog weapons that are "farmable" .............

I believe they're making it so that you no longer have to hold onto all of the pieces of gear, instead you simply "unlock" the appearance to use.

EDIT: Yep, I went to double check since I remember reading about it on the announcement day:

We're improving the transmogrification system, allowing you to collect item appearances and save your favorite outfits without sacrificing precious bag space.

D3 system (or something like it) would be awesome. If so, I predict a sudden large group of Draenai alts appearing out of nowhere on Azuremyst to obtain Kurkenstoks the day it's launched since, well, they are pretty much the only moggable sandals obtainable right now. Unless, of course, Blizz decides to finally let people use skins from white and grey items as part of the unlock system, which would be fan-friggin-tastic.

I just saw that "hide shoulder" option will be available! This is a great thing for transmog, since most of the time I can create amazing sets but finding shoulders that match is really really difficult!
