Re: Legion pet lists
Just checked the Lost Isles' Mechachicken again since it's a latest build and all, still not tameable.

Re: Legion pet lists
I'm barely getting anywhere, I tested some stuff in Highmountain before, but the servers started crashing before I could get to Aszuna and haven't stopped since.

Re: Legion pet lists
That stinks. I managed to log on with the yellow "Playable" loading bar on my MM hunter pre-made after checkin' the chicken, the game became unresponsive before I could choose a different talent than Lone Wolf. :/Wain wrote:I'm barely getting anywhere, I tested some stuff in Highmountain before, but the servers started crashing before I could get to Aszuna and haven't stopped since.
I'm hoping we find Manasabers in Azsuna.
Re: Legion pet lists
i think "Equine Sunrunner" its the correctly translationWain wrote:AwesomeAroim wrote:found this in Aszuna in The Highland of LlothienDoes that translate to Sunrunner Horse?

Re: Legion pet lists
Hmm I always assumed those Owlcats were a druid-related form, but maybe I got it wrong.
The naming suggests it's a wild creature and it has a diet. Not tameable though. We'll have to keep an eye out for more!

Re: Legion pet lists
And it looks like they've Azsuna again. The world server instablity was through the roof since it opened so I guess they closed it till they can sort out why. Damn, I wanted to look for mana sabers
I'll post what I have found later, but unfortunately it was slow with the constant server crashes. I've seen plenty of expected new model things that are tameable. Owls, moose, does, nightsabers, etc. I've seen spiny basilisks (even loads of purple ones) but not got close enough to check. I see no reason they won't all be tameable, though. I haven't checked any of the new wolves yet.
Oddly, all the stags so far have been Pandaren ones. Maybe because they were added prior to the creation of the new model and haven't been switched yet.
I've so far only run into one mob with the new "roc" model, and it's a quest mob that can't be attacked unless you have the quest to trigger it. I did that quest befre this patch so never had a chance to check. There must be more about, though.

Re: Legion pet lists
Oh and there are loads of those new sickle-horned unicorns in Val'sharah and Azsuna, different colours in different places. A lot of them have "-runner" in their name but there's otherwise nothing consistent in the name to suggest we should call the model anything in particular. So I'll just stick with unicorns for now.

Re: Legion pet lists
I'm quite glad to see a owlcat out in the wild, even if they're not tameable creatures. I think it is much too interesting of a model to be limited to a druid form that would probably be seen rarely? (That's just my opinion, sorry.)

Re: Legion pet lists
The sickle unicorns are VERY gorgeous. They're using the Swift Windsteed skeleton. I wanted to tame one till I saw their running animation. Looks almost like the horse has no backbone.
I'd still tame one.
The does!!! So much excitemet

Re: Legion pet lists
Oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god PLEASE be tameable in the future, this gave me so much hope. That's the one model I really want, even if it's tameable as a cat. Hell, it could be something useless and I'd still use it all the time. I haven't been this hopeful since I saw the Teroclaw Chicks in WoD Beta.Wain wrote:Hmm I always assumed those Owlcats were a druid-related form, but maybe I got it wrong.

Re: Legion pet lists
I managed to find our wonderful red doggie friend (Rush) while wandering around Azsuna today. It took forever to find his tracks, because I didn't even know which way he was headed, or which way his tracks were disappearing from.
After tracking him for what seemed forever.. finally tamed him at the Ley-Ruins.
I've included a picture of the rough path that I briefly recall following, as well as beautiful unnamed Rush.

(it's been forever since I've posted ANYTHING on the forums. I mostly lurk when I'm looking for new pets/things to search for. yaay for coming out of hiding!)
