Thanks for the pic . That's the same Lowland Manashell that was originally everywhere in the area. They cut it in the last Alpha patch, replacing it with a regular Panda turtle, except for that one. So it's a bit weird, because it's not a rare, almost like they missed one when deleting them. Hopefully it's meant to still exist though.

Great Sea Crab

Looks like the Truesilver crab you have listed. There were 3 different colors in huge clusters of these crabs. Red, Blue, and these. All 3 colors have the same ID. I dismissed and resummoned several times to make sure it wasn't a color changer on summon like we've had in the past. It was this white-ish color version everytime.

Sorry the crab is on an angle. Only rock I could find in the middle of the ocean without going all the way back to shore.

Seahorse, sadly not tamable. Wouldn't even let me beast lore it even though it was classified as a beast.


And yes that is a Great White shark in the background with some followers with it.

Yeah I need to fix the names in the list. Those are the same as the Salty Sea Crabs listed on page 1 . They gave them, and some other crabs, new names in the last patch.

Glad to know the ray is still a crab. Sure hope it goes under the ray-dar so we can have a silly pet on live. We've had so few unusual pets since Cataclysm's crazy glitch effect pets.

I'm either blind or stupid, maybe both. Where are the rays found? Gonna get my friend to tame one since he doesn't know about them yet.

The sea turtle is still tamable. Was hard to find in the area I was at. The one I tamed was the only one up in the whole area.

If they let us tame the seahorses (which I highly doubt), I found a huge swarm of them in an area where there is a massive skull underwater. Looks like a dragon skull. Anyway, most of the seahorses in this spot are baby seastriders. They're listed as beasts, but cannot beast lore them. They look like the sea pony minipet model. ID 111488.

Not sure if it's been noted yet, but Friender's level scales now. I tamed him today on the beta at level 100. Just an FYI as his level says ?-110.

Found Rush with the help of Jagati on Beta. Quick easy tame once we tracked him down.

Something of note here too, Jagati noticed the health pool...... LOW for lvl 100 Only like 76k, Gara at lvl 100 has 230k. so yea, at this time they are cool to roam around in town with, but don't depend on them to help much, spend more time reviving them than fighting.

His path goes all the way down to the crossroads just south of Fel..something Ingress' flightpath. I first saw the oil splotch there. Gotta say the mechwolves look way neater in person.

Just not sure what his lower level limit is Even scaling mobs seem to have limits. I believe all the BI scaling ones will max out at 110.

Do the sea turtles even have walk animations in the database? I know in-game is likely all swimming.

Unsure about in the database, but on land they still use the swimming animation as they also hover above the ground.

It's actually on the west side of New Tinkertown



It's got a lightbulb butt!

Can only be tamed by Gnomes and Goblins. I haven't seen the item on the AH yet that lets other hunter types tame mechanicals. I forget what it's called though.

Oh and oddly enough, it's lvl 100.

Very kool. Nice find. I'd grab one myself if I could log into my hunter. Got the never ending 90% load world server down bug with him after I tried to hearth to Highmountain area to turn in a mining quest. Been doing this now for almost a hour. sigh.

Yea, found him the other day while out testing all the other mechs there in that area.. and taming Mechanostrider and Friender. Love the name 'Weaponized Rabbot"

Was also testing the tracking.... or LACK OF for mechanicals... he didn't show up on anything we have.. anyone know if they plan on putting Mechanical on the tracking list?

It actually scales level, which is why it appears 100 to you. It would probably appear 30 to a level 30. Otherwise it would instablick every lowbie player in the area

One piece of info I'm missing for the Rabbot. If anyone tames it could you please let me know if it makes sounds on clicking on it, after taming? The gnome starter pet does and I would expect this one does too. Thanks
