I wanna know if ICC 25 man is easier to heal then ICC 10 man. My buddie refuses to even try 10 man. He is worried he would get yelled at for not coming up to par etc. He is a good healer but his gs on wow heroes is in the mid 2500's. He is not geared for 25 man. He has very little healing exp with raids and I don't believe he has ever healed ICC or even knows any of the fights..I'm like thinking 25 man ICC on some fights are alot different then 10 man. I just wanted to strangle him to get him listen. He hadn't done the newer VOA bosses either and was all iffy about it. I managed to convince him there was really easy. So he goes and does and comes back and is like wow there where really easy. I was like duh ? I told you! He is worse the woman @ times. No offense to the woman here.

I've never really thought of either as hard to heal, except for a select few encounters, but I'd say that 25man is easier, since you'll have more healers overall, if you happen to make a mistake, or forget a little mechanic, there'll be other healers to clean up the mess. It's a bit more floating, in my experience. You can slack off a bit during one fight, and then pick up again in the other.

Also, you'll have more people, so letting that one mage die in a 25man won't be nearly as bad as OMG THE SHAMMY DIED in 10man. You lose 10 percent of the people in a 10man, and 4% in a 25man.

I have a healer with a WoW Heroes score of 3036. I find healing 10s much easier than 25s though I think that has more to do with having more players to keep track of rather than it actually being harder due to gear. Healing in 25s is really a frenetic game of whack-a-mole and if you do not co-ordinate with the other healers and/or have healing assignments, people will die because everyone focuses on the same place and lets others fall by the wayside.

25 man raids are more about organisation and co-ordination (which is why I've never understood why they get better gear but that's a whole other and soon-to-be-moot debate) and healing is no different. Now I wouldn't put your healer friend on the tanks but he could probably be a raid healer, and you wouldn't want all the healers with his gear level but one won't hurt.
