Noisy Yak

When oxen became a tameable family, I knew I had to go out and get one. I went out to Dread Wastes and tamed Pengsong.

I know that yaks make noises when clicked, but mine seems to constantly be making noises. I thought maybe it was somthing that'd gotten bugged while out questing, but even after logging off, dismissing, summoning, putting into the stables, the sound persists. It's actually quieter than the on-click sound. Has anyone else encountered this? I don't know if it's just my particular yak being bugged, or if it's a Pengsong thing, or happens with yaks in general.

In any event, it's a little annoying having a yakkity yakkity yak.

Interesting. I may have to try this to see when I get home.

Also I gotta know.... Is there a particular reason you named your yakity yak "Girlfriend"

My Cadmus, who's from the Valley of the Four Winds, makes noises constantly too. <3 It's normal for some of them!

I named her that in a moment of silliness. Back in beta, I couldn't create a Horde hunter for some reason, so I created a premade Worgen hunter, the default pet was a wolf that I decided to name Boyfriend.

Of course, now when I want my yak pet and mouse over her in the stable, the tooltip says "Call Girlfriend."

Interesting. I tamed Pengsong too and haven't heard any noises from him other then on click.
I will jump onto that toon and take a listen.

But. Love the name Girlfriend. That's awesome.
