My Hati is an undead now

Whenever Blizz changes/fixes things while the servers are still up, I can't help but think somebody there is screaming like Bill O'Reilly.

It is possible they put in a temporary fix to not being able to return Hati to his orignial form? Has anyone tried and seen if dungeons reset him every time now? I have been avoiding using the Essence Swapper because I like Hati's look. But it would be fun to transmog him some of the time I've had the toy for a while now but been patiently waiting.

I didnt have a funny look, just a runesaber. but just now after a flight path it went back to original Hati o_O Did they wipe all looks?

I just had my hati reset just by sitting in Org and summoning him. Haven't touched a dungeon all day. But if dungeons did reset him every time... I'd rage.

I like having him as an owl and would be annoyed to have to re-do it every single time I go into a mythic dungeon, or battleground, or raid.

My Titan's Watch dark blue Hati appearance is now bugged and not appearing when I swap between default looks, even on pet dismissal. I can only see the default.

Not sure what's going on there, but it's a problem.

Going to go change him back to the old lightning wolf appearance now, so I won't be able to test further. I had enough trouble keeping him dark blue before due to random bugginess; I'm not going back to that again.

Edit: Fixed upon zoning back to Dalaran. But he may still need to be looked at.

Just lost my Murloc Hati with only doing World Quests on my hunter today - fun has been detected apparently.

I was sad to see my Fleshbeast was reset to Hati, but I was fine since I hadn't cleared Sunwell this time. I hearthed out when I got my Fleshbeast skin, that way the hounds stayed up just in case this happened. Turns out my Sunwell lockout is now empty. I did NOT kill M'uru or Kil'Jaeden this week, but they're dead. No Cataclysm Hounds for me to get my Fleshbeast again. As a consolation prize, I went to turn my pet into a poop elemental over on the Isle of Thunder, but it says "Invalid Target" when they're transformed. So, I run in, activate the swapper, then it transforms. That worked, at least.

Guess it's another week of Poop Hati unless that gets fixed too.

Because that is definitely a new look for him.

I am assuming that the Black Hati look is from the Eaglewatch look on Titanstrike. Thats what I have on XD so I hope im right.

I was expecting a reset, but I shall miss Hatiloc.

I do hope they'll add a way to reset Hati to his base look though. I'm happy with mecha squirrel Hati for now, but I might want the base Hati back eventually, and to my knowledge, no one has figured out a way to get it back, right?

I don't think I'd recommend this. Hatis bring reset means they don't want us doing this. I'm erring on the side of caution and not going back for the murloc.

Sorry if someone else has said this already, but I can confirm that the Skull Rock Cave demon form does not work anymore, as I found out when I tried to demonstrate the exploit to my boyfriend.

I love how Blizzard can nerf and take things away from us in a hotfix, but to give us something it takes a patch.

Looks like we all had our Hati reset. I'm gonna bribe a mage to polymorph mine into a pig again and see if it sticks.

So if anyone wants to force reset Hati into his original skin permanently after they've changed it into another creature, you can do as follows:

Go to Skull Rock cave outside of Orgrimmar.

Get 4 stacks of Felblood from the NPC's there.

Get in melee range of the last NPC and spam this macro:

/cast Cobra Shot
/tar [insert pet's name here]
/cast Essence Swapper

And Voila! After channeling your Hati will reset to good old normal sized and normal skinned Hati.

Found it out after trying to get Demon Hati back. XD
I tested all of the other ones too. As long as you can start the channel of Essence Swapper BEFORE your pet transforms, you are guaranteed that model. d=(^_-)z ...Except the Demon Skin. Then you get good old original Hati.

Super shady how it works, but as far as I know, that is the only way to currently reset Hati back to true form after swapping it out.
