Sprites.

Keep or sell?

I'm currently missing the big four. Lightning, fire, arcane and light. I know I'll NEVER get a light sprite but the other three are doable long term.
However. I need space. And money. I'm feeling the pinch in my heart of the dragons still waiting in line for genes etc.
Yet the other side of me is finding it really tough to sell my sprites because it's been a dream of mine to have all 11 sprites with matching dragons.
But. Yeah. Minus the light sprite.

Thoughts?

I sold all mine two except two i got as a gift. I figured that I never would get all familiars because of kickstarter familiars.

The beginning of the Emerald Dream. Or, Gem Nightmare as I like to call it. I've decided to breed a Ysera dragon for my gf, since, well, I won't ruin it if you haven't seen it, but you'll know if you have. But she's rather emotional about it.

So I found two with the right primary and secondary and a tertiary range that should make the right purple eventually. I'm basing it off Ysera's new model, which has a purple underbelly.

So yeah, one iridescent, two shimmers, two underbellies.....

Also, do you think I should use underbelly? Or should I use glimmer or maybe runes, since I'm already going to be broke forever? What's a few thousand more gems....*collapses and dies*
And do you think I got the colors as close as I can? It's a bit late now, but unless my monitor is messed up, it seems pretty close.

Oh, and and if any of you would like a hatchling, just ask. I'm sure there will be many with a just slight off tert.

That's a wonderful idea Teig! I opened Sai and used a screenie I took of her during my time in Val'Sharah to pull her colours to compare with the current FR colour wheel. I'd say you picked the best colours for her! I think Fog could work as a potential tert as well as Heather as I think both look pretty close. I also personally say stick with underbelly as glimmer is a bit too shiny and glittery for her imo. I don't like runes as an option since she won't have her purple belly otherwise but it was a nice thought. Lastly I'd like to suggest Lightning for her rather than Fire as she actually has bright blue eyes both in-game and in the cutscenes.

Just a thought...but if you are wanting to save a bit on cost, you could forgo gening the parents and just gene the hatchling that is born with the desired colors.

Ooh, yeah. I forgot to change the eye color! The random scry was fire, and I changed everything but that I should find a lightning nest to borrow though; you're right. Otherwise, she'll have green eyes, since I'm in Nature. Which isn't bad, but isn't accurate either.

Makoes, that would be the sensible thing, wouldn't it? I might do, or I might just be all perfectionist about it and gene the parents. I'll have to decide if I am keeping them on a permanent basis. They'd be kinda pretty, and fit with my flight. Hm.

I have a handful of Gen One dragons that I hatched way back on the release of the colour wheel expansion. Nothing particularly exciting I guess, so I'm wondering if they'd be worth anything?? Should I bother trying to sell them at all or should I exalt them? I'm just not sure. It feels like a waste to exalt first gen dragons, but also since they're just ordinary breeds I'm not sure what the chances are of anyone wanting them.

Vephriel: The gen one market can be pretty lucrative, especially if a dragon is a year or older and decently colored. I'd say try to auction or sell them. A few Petopians here collect them as well and might be willing to pay for them. You can always pop them into the show & sell dragons forum and check! Never hurts to try!

I´ve decided that Leia is going to be my first bogsneak. I already got a boon ready for when she goes on nest.. But who to pair her with? I decided to do a coatl or wildclaw for more chances of bogs hatchlings ; though with my RNG luck they will get one egg Ive chosen circuit or glimmer as tert to be sure to get runes

Personally when I started and bred I went for the widest ranges possible because I loved being surprised for colors.

Just impulse bought this little G1 bog guy (because I have an obs/red-range G1 collecting habit and he was the first obs/red-range G1 bog I've seen). However, his tert is something I don't normally go for, so I'm drawing a blank on how I should gene him. Anyone have any suggestions? So far I'm pondering Iridescent/Daub/Runes. But I just don't know.
