I used to lvl all my pets here to 4-5 before taking them out into the open world...I can not do this anymore. T.T
Are all horde and ally cities like this?

Re: SW's missing battle pets..
From memory (and I could be wrong) but I think they are still in SW, they were just given longer re-spawn timers. I just checked my server and couldn't find any, but it is peak hour here. If you go just outside SW there are pets in the same level bracket. I will check other cities to see if there are battle pets there or not, and get back to you.

Re: SW's missing battle pets..
My observations on Nagrand (US) between 8:00pm and 8:30pm server time are as follows:
(I am not going to check the TBC cities)
Alliance Cities-
Stormwind: No battle pets
Ironforge: 4 battle pets
Darnassus: 11 battle pets
At this point the US servers crashed so I was unable to test Horde cities. However, my original statement seems to ring true, the more popular cities have less pets where as the less visited ones do indeed have a lot more up.
