Now we’re finding more stuff I’ll write up a 7.3.5 pets page tonight. I think a lot of people will be really happy about these.

Since it turns out these are all 7.3.5 things I merged the talbuk and panthara colour finds into the 7.3.5 thread.

Tried taming the Panthara that turn into the pink variant when they have a particular buff, and they still revert back to their original variant once tamed.

hnghgh I want that red one. But I've only found two meat so far and while I got a silver panthara with one of them, the other bugged on toss and I lost it, which made me so bitter...
I don't know if I have the patience to farm more.

It looks like another unused variant has made it in! The White and Pink Mana Ray is now tamable! You can find the Albino Umbralfin flying above the area where you can find the Voidwalker Ataxon

Respawns fairly quickly. Looks like it can also spawn above the chasm next to the Venomtail Skyfin.

How about just farm one on live. Then repeatedly transfer the toon to PTR, mail the meat to your main and delete the toon. I assume that would work. Occasionally mail is broken on the PTR but if it works then you have an infinite supply of meat

Time for some fantastic news for all you hunters. You can now tame pets 2 levels higher than you, though I do not know about the rare elites that are 63. Will test that soon!

EDIT: No you cannot tame rares 3 levels above you. So only the rare elite beasts will be out of reach. At least we can tame anything 2 levels higher than us.

Um, wow. I wonder if this is intentional, or an accidental side-effect of the level scaling code.

Don't know, but I think it'll make alot of hunters who are leveling up in the world happy that they can tame a rare pet instead of having to out level the continent in order to tame one. Last build you couldn't tame pets higher level than you. Also the gear no longer requires 61 when you kill and loot a rare at 60.
