Race/Faction changing and glitch tames

Hi, I've not posted here for a long time, but BFA's tickling my fancy and I was thinking of jumping back in WoW.

I have 2 glitch tames, the Oil-stained wolf and the Lone Hunter with the sword in his head. I've been wanting to faction/race change for a while, but I'm afraid if doing that (especially faction changing) would affect any pet in my stable.

Has anyone with glitch tames recently race/faction changed? Are your pets safe?

Thats a great question. I personally have not, hoping someone can speak to this... but I also wouldnt be surprised if we dont get any immediate response due to the rarity of those pets and the current inactivity of the game for alot of players right now (aka pre-xpac).

Have you tried asking Blizzard? Just curious what they say.

As a fellow hunter with Lone Hunter and the botched lobotomy, I will try it out once character copies are available on the alpha/beta. I'm curious as well now, but I can't test it. Hang in there, we'll know soon enough!

My main has server, race, and faction changed several times sense acquiring her glitched pets and has never lost any in the move. Juts make sure the they are in your stable and not on you at the time of the move. Stable data doesn't change, hope this helps.
