This is one of those 'never going to happen' wishes, but it'd be so cool to tame a 'swarm' of smaller creatures.
Being followed around by a dozen small bats or bees or rats.

As a Kiwi I'm happy to see something so random like a Kakapo in a big game like WoW and I wish others would be too!
I'd love to see keas... they fly in, climb over you, and tear random bits of your armour off

An updated tallstrider would make a great moa, too.

The Thornhide have a new name "Anklyodon" and model with no tusks or armbands.

Unfortunately still can't tame them.

The sea turtles on Zuldazar have been made untamable with yesterday's build.

Aw, I liked the name "Thornhide". I'm fine with the removal of the tusks, even though I liked the concept of bear turtle boars, but I'm glad they still look like lovable large dinosaur turtles. I just hope that, with the de-druidization they got, they become new pets. Scalehide, Turtle, or humorously bear; I don't care what they become, just let me have a lovable beartle at my side.

EDIT: I EXPECTED THAT AND FULLY RESPECT THAT CHANGE SINCE IT WAS TOTALLY UNINTENDED BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'll miss my sea turtle Floaty. Now I, a grown 30 year old man, need to buy a sea turtle plush. This news will haunt me all night until I eventually get over it.

Some of the Sabertusks have been converted to their unarmored version.

Oh cool! I missed the new unarmoured model. I'll get to adding it :)

The sabertusk and the "anklyodons" look great. Also glad to see at least one hermit crab is tameable.

Yay! They're such a clever addition to the crab family. I'm so glad to see one tameable.

Hmm, I wonder if "anklyodon" is a typo, and they meant "ankylodon", as in "ankylosaur".

Oh well, I've decided to call them ankylodons for now. Anklyodon really feels like a typo. I can always change it later.

I've added all four colours to the database, as unclassified looks. Click on the pics for larger images:

Aye, I found that one earlier yesterday. I'm glad that they're making them tamable, even if just one at a time :)

Some good news; Animal Companion now works on beta! I still have the floating sea turtle and armored "cat", so pre-tamed ones didn't get changed. Shame they won't be there on live.
Image

The Anklyodons look excellent as well. Really wish we could tame them.
Image

...except for their eyes, which look like a blue walnut. Delicious(?).
Image

And now for some bad news; I'm posting from an old laptop because the Beta fried my GPU! Whatever they did to the beta this time around literally melted my card. A perfectly good GTX 660 that was more than enough for the system requirements, RIP.

Neat! I'll check it out :)

Update: Just checked it out and it doesn't seem to be complete yet. For example, when you use Kill Command, your main pet will rush your target as per usual. The other pet waits for a moment and then runs to the target and does not deal the damage that Kill Command would cause it to deal.

Update 2: Apparently Animal Companion doesn't work at all. It summons the second pet, and the second pet will attack, but the rest of it is broken. Barbed Shot, which is a new ability for BM, is bugged atm.
