The Twlight Avenger, the Cloud Serpent and a few others come from Island Expeditions. Most likely you can get them on a higher difficulty.

I'm really hoping the Spectral Phoenix is some kind of...placeholder colour.

At first I thought it was just the Dark Phoenix but comparing them in game it's actually a bit different, at least in terms of transparency. Still, that's not enough to justify it being a new mount in my opinion, and the icon is so clearly blue.

I'm hoping that they intend to make a blue version of it for release.

I was looking through Warcraft Mounts yesterday (was searching for the unused infernal mounts) when I found that phoenix. Seeing as the Dark Phoenix came out in Cata, it is possible that the pink phoenix was also added then.

I don't even think it's even pink though, it looks like the exact same purple model and colour only with added transparency, so the purple doesn't come through as dark. The armor and spell effects are identical.

To me it feels like a cheap new mount for that sort of achievement. Still hoping the icon reflects what the actual mount will look like.

Maybe we can see it changed, then, and Blizz has plenty of time since it isn't actually possible to reach 100 exalted reps (only 96 in BfA).

It’s a skin variant that was used in the High Prophet Barim encounter from Cata. 2nd phase of the fight it appears and you have to DPS it down to re-trigger phase 1.

It’s been sitting in WCM unused skins for some time, but I agree as Veph pointed out, they’ve made the icon so blue it really looks like a different skin is intended.

It looks like there are three possible Horse mounts that the Horde can obtain. One comes from the Warfront. Two others seem to be zone drops in Stormsong and Drustvar.

There are also other Hyena and Blood Tick mounts that the Alliance can obtain. The Blood Tick is a zone drop in Nazmir and the Hyena is a zone drop in Vol'dun.

New mounts! These can drop from certain npcs in Arathi Highlands. However, I think that the unarmored raptor possibly is a placeholder. The Jade Serpent from the prior build has been replaced with a new quilen mount.

The bat is a welcome addition. I'm happy it's the updated model, but I kind of hoped for the old crappy model as a mount. One day!

Aside from the quilen, the mounts I posted are all dropped by mobs in Arathi Highlands. The Quilen comes from Challenge-mode Island Expeditions.
