Your "Huntard" Moments/Times

hahaha well, I got one for you guys. It happened a month ago, but I'm sure its happened to us all...maybe not all in one run... like I did...So here is my major "huntard" run-

Well, We went to an instance with some strangers and My boyfriend,Ian, was our group's healer in his "tree form", which are the best healers in the game, and I joined him, my pet being a pink/blue/purple hyena named Hex. It all started when first, our group were fighting enemies, and I stayed on a ledge by Ian while he healed and I shot my bow, But after the "mobs" (enemies) were killed, Hex used the stairs to rejoin me, causing nearby enemies to surprise us... I got yelled at for that by a few players, Ian stayed silent. THEN, not long after that, we joined another group to instance with...but as we came upon the first mob, I noticed....

My bow was missing...

It wasn't anywhere and I panicked and asked the group. "Um...where's my bow?"....I got a few "...."s and finally someone asked me if it broke, sure enough, my bow was broken (the red bow picture blended with the walls), so they told me to teleport into town to fix it, so I used my hearthstone . The bow was fixed...but I couldn't figure out how to get back to them... So I had to ask,
"Um... how do I get back to you guys?"
"Teleport back like you teleported out"
"But I hearthed"
"...."
....I was dying of humiliation by this point, and it was freaking me out that Ian wasn't saying anything. I was scared he was mad or embarrassed or thinking 'I'm never doing an instance with her again'.

Then the icing on the cake came where we reached the last boss. I stood outside of the platform to type something, only to notice... The platform was blocked now as the rest of the group was fighting. At this point, my face was already hurting from facepalming countless times. THEN to make it worst, I pressed that I "needed" the ring (instead of "greeding")for a ring I didn't need from a boss I didn't fight!!!Finally we teleported out, and Ian IMMEDIATLY called. I hesitantly picked up the phone cringing, ready to hear sighing or 'I don't think I ever want to do that with you again'. But...

All I heard was insane laughing that sounded like he was laughing so hard he was going to cry I told him to shut up an he said,
"Do you know how HARD it is to heal when you have tears in your eyes from laughing?"

"So you aren't mad?" "No, why would I be?" I was relived and was about to talk about how embarrassed I was when Ian asked in a serious voice,

"Um, Cherie?" "Yah?" "(chuckling) Where's my bow?" "SHUTTUP!!!!!" And the insane laughter and relentless teasing began and has not stopped.....even after a month, I predicted when he was going to ask about my bow...

and yes, now I'm a lot better at dungeons, except yesterday while running, I rolled "need" for an item that I didn't need and was clearly a tank item... even worse is I rolled 100 on it..............

Well at least you got the achievement!

Misrolls happen a lot, worst thing that can happen is that the person that can actually use the item wants it, and then you just explain the misclick and trade it to them. Everyone's done it.

And I can't count the times I've had to explain how to teleport back into a dungeon. It's new, it takes some getting used to!

More than a few times I've done heroics in my PvP set, and vice-versa. And I once thought I sold my crossbow accidentally, but I didn't have my usual ammo in the slot. Freaked me out for a minute.

Your bf sucks, IMO. Shouldn't've put you in the position of being lost like that. I would never take someone unfamiliar with the new dungeon finder system into a heroic without being prepared to help them learn the ropes. That he could kick back and watch you squirm is cruel, at least in my opinion. Given, I'm biased. I don't like to see anyone treated that way and I hate it even more when it's by someone who should have their back.

It really bothers me because when the system first went in, a lot of people didn't know you could port at all. Laughing at someone who missed that progression (as it were) is unfair.

Been there, done that... twice. I've gone 1/2 way through a random then realized I had my fishing pole equipped. (I think everyone has done that at least once.) I've gone into randoms forgetting to check my arrow count and have run out. I'm sure there's a tonne of other things I've done that are slipping my mind.

Not on my hunter, but druid. Same applies to anyone though. Here I am, DPSing, irked cause it's so low. Well, DK says, "...Why are you using a lance?" Turns out I forgot from when I was doing my dailies. >.<

Yeah, I've ran out of arrows. I helped one hunter get a WC raptor...They let the raptor run half way around the instance on accident, pulling a loooot of friends. No problem for an 80 hunter though.

I accidently disengaged off of a cliff into a bunch of monsters...the next thing the group heard was "INCOMING!!!" as I was charging towards the exit with a bunch of monsters following me (there were to many for us to fight all at once, about 3 groups plue the two we were already fighting, and our healer was oom because the tank thought he was invincible and didnt stop pulling)...only the healer, the rogue and I made it out alive

I've got an addon called Annoying Buff Reminder that includes a Viper notification. Comes in handy so much, don't know what I'd do without it. ^^ For other classes it just reminds you to keep up specific buffs, it's awesome.

Lately, I've been accidentally forgetting to go back to the Hawk Aspect after my mana is fully restored during my instance runs with folks, but then it's easy to forget when you're under the pressure of killing mobs, so to speak. Yet, I've had no negative reactions about it. In fact, at ZF after we have beaten Sergeant Bly's gang at the foot of the steps and were heading toward the last boss, the tank kindly let me know I had the Viper Aspect on. After I switched back, I said, "Oops. Thanks for that." Then he made a nice comment of how well my dps was even when under the Viper Aspect. That did make me feel good, seeing as that was the first time I've actually ran an instance with folks at my level (I've always soloed so the experience isn't the same).

I use ViperNotify. It's only job is to flash a blue text in your sct area that says your mana is full. It also plays an annoying *ding* sound. It's annoying enough that you hear it, but not so annoying that you mind. It's available on curse.
