oky so are ravens carion birds or birds of prey its listed under both

There are ravens (found on Kul Tiras and Zandalar) that are located under both families. I suspect Wain will be posting a detailed list of all tamable BfA pets on the main site soon,

on the petopia the ones on the isle of thunder are said to be bouth soooo

Isle of Thunder ravens are birds of prey, and are the new black skin. Raven elsewhere are teal and carrion birds. "Elsewhere" does not include Zandalar and Kul'tiras, as they are not available yet.

sooo when they do launch will the black be carrion or prey
and thats so dumb because it teal its a diffrent family

Currently existing ones out in the world will not be changing nor will anything be changing.

There will be particular raven mobs in the new areas that will be in carrion, and others will be in birds of prey.

The Isle of Thunder ones were always Birds of Prey, while the rest were always Carrion Birds (as you might expect from a raven). Actually, I lie - I'm pretty sure one or two others were BoP when they first appeared and were fixed to be CB. We reported the Isle of Thunder at the time it appeared, but it was never changed so I guess it's how it's meant to be.

The only new change is its colour. The look itself is still saying it can be both CB and BoP because I didn't reset it. Sorry
