The three silithids are still not tamable.
The armored direhorns and devilsaurs in Dazar'alor are not tamable.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
Just jumped on the PTR to check my glitch pets. Only have four sadly, and unfortunately one seems to be "fixed".
1. Lone Hunter with sword in its head - Sword and buff now gone (hopefully just a beta issue)
2. Baby Direhorn - Still baby and tiny (I miss giant baby, but understand why it's small now)
3. Mugg - Still has the trogg portrait (I hope this never gets fixed)
4. Bufo - Still humorously tiny (This actually needs fixing since it hits all toads with this skin, I think)
I hope Lone Hunter doesn't lose the sword buff when PTR becomes live.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
All of the Kor'kron wolves in SoO are still untamable.
Re: 8.2 Beasts
Added Scale Lord Theronar (black hydra, quest NPC, cannot be attacked or tamed) and Cracklemaw Colossus (untameable red tidal guardian from the same quest), and Cracklemaw Spawn (untameable yellow or purple tidal guardian from the same quest).

Re: 8.2 Beasts
I genuinely have no idea how Oondasta will be tameable when it comes to live. He's always being farmed by someone who wants the mount that they will never get, and damage always has priority over Tame Beast.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
It'll definitely be tough, especially the first couple weeks when everyone's trying for it, but I think it'll be doable with some patience. There's peak times for campers I've found (as I do the Sha of Anger every week on 20+ characters), and Tuesdays tend to be super busy but throughout the week I'm often waiting on his spawn by myself. It'll take luck and maybe some off-hours checking, but I guess that'll be part of the challenge.
And who knows, sometimes the community can be nice. Maybe hunters will form polite lines to tame, it's happened in the past.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
And let's not forget the backwater RP servers of the world. He's usually there just hanging out by himself on Earthen Ring, and presumably on other dead RP servers.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
It probably would've been better if a mob that looked like Oondasta was added and made tamable rather than Oondasta himself.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
Not at this time. Mechagon hasn’t been touched at all by a taming pass.
Re: 8.2 Beasts
And a third version of Motospider (this one just wanders in packs, doesn't need to be spawned).

Re: 8.2 Beasts
The Steelplated Hardshell is tamable only in the alternative phasing when Chromie is available currently. Didn't see anyone mention that yet so thought I would just incase it's been missed.
Re: 8.2 Beasts
Oh wow, cool! Thanks How does this Chromie phasing thing work?

Re: 8.2 Beasts
Each day you will have different "guests" providing daily quests at Mechagon. One of those is Chromie and her dailies involve being sent to an alternative version of Mechagon where everything has gone to ruin. When Chromie is up you can freely move between the standard version and alternative but need her to be the guest of the day.Wain wrote:Oh wow, cool! Thanks How does this Chromie phasing thing work?
Re: 8.2 Beasts
Awesome. Thanks! I wonder if any other creatures in the area having different IDs or taming status in the alt phase. It's 1:30 am here so I don't have time to check, but will tomorrow if nobody else does it first.

Re: 8.2 Beasts
I’ll take a look at see if there is anything else. I have been there a few times and recall there not being many things that had taming potential.
