God Dew Do you have any friends you can stay with temporarily? I'd suggest speaking to your bank and see why they let your husband take money from an account he wasn't authorized to touch. If what they did is illegal you may be able to force them to reverse it.

I do not. Being introverted has downsides. I don't know that the money can be recovered, but I may be able to freeze the account to where only deposits and not withdrawals can be made. After confronting him, he swears he will pay it back with tax returns. We'll see. Good? news is for the most part he leaves me alone. Whether that's from brain injury or just the fact the relationship is so fractured now I don't know, but I prefer it that way at this point.

So, got a call from my dad this morning. My mother...isn't doing well. We thought she overdosed at first, but this doesn't seem to be the case. We're not sure what happened, but now she can't speak in sentences. She's just not all there. There is a chance....she may be dying. My mind is having a hard time processing it.

Oh Christ Superficially it sounds like a stroke. Have they worked out what's wrong yet?

Oh god, Lisaara, I'm so sorry. That's awful. I hope they can figure out what happened and at least bring her peace and comfort.

My rant- another health rant, to add to the pile in this thread right now. My girlfriend's brother was diagnosed with cancer last week. That's bad enough, but it's endometrial cancer- he's trans- and it developed because he was overdiagnosed Testosterone by his doctor. He was already struggling badly with depression and self-destructive urges before this, and now it's getting... very bad. My poor sweet wonderful girlfriend is on the phone with him all the time to try and comfort him and try and draw some honesty out of him (he also opens up to exactly nobody, ever) and it's taxing her massively. I wish I could help more, but it's the best I can do to be there for her through this. 8( I just hope his surgery goes well!

They have ruled out it isn't a stroke and she's out of the 'danger zone'. They got her to eat, which is good, but she's like...shut down from reality. Not able to speak in complete sentences, if at all. Not really responding to anyone. They're bringing in a specialist to see what's going on with her mentally.

So, good news, she's not dying, far as I've been told. Bad news, she's still not herself and I really wish I could do something for her.

My rant: More model dramas. So the shop that the community uses/supports (we literately spend 1000's here) decides to run a competition that's supposed to be in June (its our pre cursor to the main one in July so its a big deal)...now its 2 months from now! The community goes into full panic anxiety mode so I say its ok don't enter if you cant finish - July is more important. Also the owner claims to do EVERYTHING for the community. no. this is a business decision. Your having it at this model show because 1.) its dead so the space is cheap 2.) you think you'll get more money than say just having it at the shop and you know....actually for us? I get a message saying It was done for community and ppl don't support it they are haters. WUT. No. WE the community were not even consulted. YOU and your shop are not it. Anyway I go off and basically call him out and I get a lecture about how dare I and everything he does is for community but its a business. yeah I know. Just be fucking honest. Don't label everything "FoR tHe Community" when it's for your profit margin! Just don't. Without us your just a shop. A community is PEOPLE.

Then I get accused of saying shit about the shop to the "wider community" whoa up their buddy. You best have some sources on that shit cause I'm not copping being accused of something I didn't do. The "wider community" contacted ME to rant about YOU and your treatment of ppl. Not the other way round. And your "business" was never mentioned. Just you and your shitty ass choices. I guess this guy isn't fond of ppl who stand their ground cause he backed right off after that. I just can't even. Hobbies are fun not stress and accusations.

That must be so terrifying. At least she's not in any danger of dying, and hopefully they work it out soon!

Appetite is soo important and is a good sign. I hope she gets better soon

My mother in law had 17 blodclots in a few hours 12 years ago...bloodclots are tricky and it took some time for the doctors to figure out why.
I hope your mother recovers. Always press the doctors for tests and answers so they don't miss anything! .
