Warning upon trying to enter fourms

My clock is very much set to the right time. I've never seen this message before, so I figured it was worth posting about JUUUST in case something did go wrong.

I think it's because the security certificate has expired?

Sorry. It should be fixed now! It happened overnight (for me) and I had to wait for Jon to update the certificate. Sorry for the scare!

I second Bowno's comment - the certificate has expired again. Wain, would using LetsEncrypt be an option so it auto-renews?

Thanks. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I let our server owner know (about 6-7 hours ago) so hopefully he'll see it and renew it soon. I guess he renews it in 3-monthly increments, which seems surprising. Hopefulyl we won't be experiencing the same thing in another 3 months.

Sorry about this happening again. We actually are using letsencrypt, and auto-renew is configured, however, the client I'm using won't renew any certificate on the server if any of the renewals fail, and one of the other sites I let their domain expire without letting me know, so the auto-renewal here failed. I'll see what I can do to set myself up a warning before the next time.

Ah that explains it! I thought it was odd we were experiencing the same issue so soon after last time. Well thanks for looking into and thanks for responding

Ah okay!
And no worries, it doesn't really bother me, but I could see how that warning could scare people who are visiting for the first time, which is why I wanted to make sure ya'll were aware it was happening again :>
