Think it's WoWhead being wrong. The live version of the page also shows it as being tameable.

During WoD Alpha and early Beta there were some that were tamable, but they were all made untamable by launch.

Looks like a bunch of the new looks previously categorized as "untameable" are now tameable. For example, https://www.wow-petopia.com/look.php?id=cranebluewhite models are tameable on Wowhead now.

I think you have to be a pandaren to tame them without some sort of tome.

The Crystal Scorpids are tamable under Beast Lore, but when you try to tame them it says that they are untamable.

You were the first person I thought of when I Read on wowhead that Kunchongs were tameable now. xD

I know this is the longest of the longest shots, but can someone with beta check to see if Forsaken naturally come with undead pet taming abilities? It's killing me to know. D: I really wasn't planning on going Maldraxxus on my main and that's gonna throw a wrench in the works. *cry*

Well that sucks. There's an easy fix for that; perhaps a certain lurker can consider one more Christmas miracle! At least there's 30 other beasts on my radar to grab that aren't plants. Thanks for checking Valnaaros.

Thwip, it is indeed confirmed. Undead get undead pets by default, just like both gnomes got mechanicals. Wain tweeted about it!

Now I just want those new squirrels and the bloody rabbits tameable as rodents :c
