Thank you for checking, it seems my wishlist for the expansion has already been fulfilled (also thank you to Muffinus if he visits here).

I was so mad when they bumped that up with BFA. My Lightforged Draenei Hunter had a spirit beast that she used to level with, but when BFA dropped she couldn't summon it anymore. I got so mad, I stopped leveling her over it XD

I can dust her off now!

So level 20 in Shadowlands is what 45-47 was on live. So, it's a big improvement! However, most pandaren leave the isle after like level 16 or so on live (with heirlooms). Getting to level 20 on beta should be fairly easy though!

It cannot. In order to tame Cloud Serpents, the Hunter needs to be exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent. As we know, only Pandaren Monks can go back to the Wandering Isle, once they leave, for their Order Hall. There's no way to leave the Isle, exalt Cloud Serpent, and come back.

Also, there's no rep tokens for Order of the Cloud Serpent, and no mailboxes to, potentially, receive them in on the Wandering Isle.

I thought someone mentioned Pandaren could tame them by default. Maybe I remember wrong.

You will be able to keep it if you don’t have the tome, in legion prepatch ptr, one YouTuber tamed mechs on a gnome and race changed and that person was still able to summon the mechs, it will be the same here
