I'll attest to the child birth phobia there! First time I had access to cable as a kid and I find the bit of the Alien movie where the guys are eating dinner and the thing pops out of him...I was so shocked! Spent years freaking out about anything growing in me after that. And here I go and do it 3 times with out pain meds, not sure what I was thinking but I know I wouldn't change it for anything haha.

And yeah, just my opinion on children is all haha. By no means do I expect others to have the same view as me on that.

Yeah, theyre very religious, in fact. they are members of whatls known as the "quiverfull" movement., the premise of which is that God will give them as many children as he deems fit. It's a movement made almost entirely of evangelical christians, and generally in the US, no forms of birth control are allowed.

I always find that stupid. Mean it's like taking your hands off the wheel because Jesus is sitting in the car with you, and expecting him to drive even tho he's the passenger >_>

I guess the saying is true. God gives you two brains. And only enough blood to run one. And most people don't use the one they should >_<

Ugh. Sadly I'm very familiar with this family. The ONLY reason I haven't boycotted them is simply that they have zero debt and the kids are well cared for. I strongly disagree with what they've done and have no qualms about voicing that to anyone. Michelle (mom) has been pregnant all of her adult life.

Well rodent #19 was more then likely her last. This baby barely survived and was born premature. Not to mention the physical problems Michelle had from carrying and delivering #19. I do not watch their shows but no someone who does so this is the only reason I know what's happened.

I VERY sincerely hope and pray they do not have another kid. Why risk a babies life or your own? Talk about selfish if you do. Part of me wonders at this point if it's just to keep the shows /money rolling in.

Tho sadly I'm not sure if they'll take that warning the right way and instead just think that god still wants them to have more babies! There's a difference between a saying in the bible to have kids, and just being irresponsible and being all well God wants us to have lots of kids so if he doesn't want us to have any we'd not have any! derpderp! <_> stance.

EDIT: My point is, if you have unprotected sex, you will have children. Whatever religion you believe in doesn't alter that. It's how having children works. Anyhow, post wasn't meant t be offensive to religious people. I always manage to piss off religious people, even tough I don't mean to.

I'm religious and I don't find it offensive- as you're stating the truth. From a religious stand point, God gave us free will, and he basically gave us minds. He also gave us choice. We get to choose to be parents or not. We also get to choose to say when enough is enough and put a cap on that Mr Happy. I mean even a friend of mine, who is also religious, her parents finally did that when they realized they had enough kids [five].

As sadly I find it alot like abortion- just the fact that you can always have someone/something to take away the responsibility of actually being responsible tbh

I realize it is their choice and they are taking care of their children. Its all a bit much to me though.. I mean i'd like kids yes but not that many... I do think that going so far as to call their 19th child a rodent is a bit much though...kids cant help who their parents are and at least it survived...
