On the Hunt

So here is how its all went down....

I was running randoms and cue'd for Drak'Tharon Keep when I met King Dred for the very first time. I almost had a heart attack! I've restrained going devilsaur this long but in the moment I decided I had to have him!!! I made the tough decision to ditch my owl that I have had forever (pictured below) and went for it ....FACE PLANT MOMENT.... I'm two levels too low. Such an idiot....

So now I have a slot open anyway and just ventured into grizzly hills for the first time and decided i might be time for Falc to get him self a spirit bear.

Unfortunately, 5 days later and still no tame. I've kept in contact with other hunters camping and they have got him, but not me..., but here's the twist. Since then I have lvl'd enough for Dred, but I think I have my heart set on Arc now. I'm competing for camping with another hunter as we speak.

Thats a toughy........personally i like Dred more than the bear, I would get the wolf spirit Skoll if I were you, you can camp him and the Time Lost at the same time (NPC scanner helps), I got Skoll, and named him Hati. Thank you to all the nerds out there who got that.

AND THEN I BOTCHED IT!!!!!!!!!

I swear to you not 2 minuets after I posted this he spawned. I scared the poop out of me! I had been camping near this other guy for like 4 hours, but I think I was there first. Arc popped up right next to me and I went for it, but completely blew it. I forgot to release my dump pet, then I did and set my freezing trap. It got him, but my auto shot went off and wrecked it. I backed out as fast as possible until my trap was ready again and got him, but it didn't hold out long enough for the tame....and he killed me. By the time I rez'd, the other hunter had him.
I guess there is tomorrow.

Isn't Hati Skoll's brother or something in Norse mythology? Skoll chases the moon(?) and Hati chases the sun(?). I could have them flipped, but I know I've heard the name Hati before.

Came back in the room from doing house work and he was just wandering around. It wasn't the prettiest tame, but I did it. Named him Arctos, the Latin name for the brown bear species.
