Ah, things are looking up in the pet stable department, INDEED!
On a related note, I would like to see a change for those of us who dual spec:
- the ability to have a different set of active pets
For my Survival spec, there is no need to include any exotic pets as active

I remember when we just had 2 stable slots and 1 active pet - the update to have 4 stable slots was huge when it came about but this... this is amazing!
I'm not sure if it's been said, but how do we think this will work? Do you think we will need to keep an active slot open to do our tames and then we store them in the stable or if taming will send them there automatically?

Possibly more than 25 pets: -
You have 5 active pets and 20 (or more) stable slots. You can summon an active pet whenever you want, out of combat. This replaces the remote stable spell. In other words, if you have a crab, a bear and a wolf, you can swap from wolf to bear in between encounters.
You must visit a stable master to change which are the active pets though. There are a lot of stable slots, so you can catch Spirit Beasts or rare spawns or whatever you want, even if you don't think you will use them often.

however im still conserned on if we have to pay a juicy ammount of gold for em(id still run like an exited little girl and get it though). it would seem plausible that we would have to pay ONCE to unlock it all but maybe we luck out and get em all free =D

I wonder if the stable slots will reach a price cap much like the bank bag slots, that cap at 25g/slot. Most likely for taming we will need to keep a slot free with our active pets to tame, since we cannot tame while controlling a pet. So we will have to "muzzel" our current pet before taming a new one.
